“I love the black pepper shrimp. I don't think it's on the lunch buffet. I think it's only available as a dinner item. I particularly like the vegetable tempura that's available at lunch. They have an authentic tempura batter that's very light and it compliments the vegetables, which is usually green string beans, sweet potato, broccoli and I believe another one. Their onion rings are fried in the same batter. They're delicious, especially when they first bring them out to the buffet. I love their blue cheese dressing. It's the best I've had anywhere and the only blue cheese dressing that I like. It tastes great with iceberg lettuce.They have a good selection of self-serve ice cream for scooping. I wouldn't recommend getting the buffet for takeout. It's not by weight and the containers are very small. If you fill another container, the price is the same as if you were eating in, so you would be paying for two full buffet meals. You can still order from the menu if you're in a hurry and just want takeout. They have a good selection and the price is reasonable. The vegetable tempura and black pepper shrimp are my favorites.”

“Two years ago, we first stepped into this restaurant when it was known as Maine St. Steak & Oyster under different ownership. We loved it so much back then that when we found out it was sold and turned into Maine St. Bistro we had to come back and check it out — and I’m so glad we did. Maine St. Bistro gave us an unforgettable dinner experience from the moment we stepped inside. The restaurant is quaint, cozy, and fancy, but not pretentious. It’s quite welcoming. The service was top-notch; our waiter was not only friendly but also attentive. While the menu wasn't extensive, it offered a nice variety – during our visit, it ranged from seafood and pork to chicken and risotto. We started with the baked brie and beef tartare and both were delicious. The brie came with these yummy raisins that were to die for. For two people, it was the perfect appetizer. However, I do wish they hadn’t used the same crostinis for both apps. For our entrees we had the MSB Burger and the fall risotto. The burger was juicy and my partner couldn’t get enough of it. I enjoyed my fall risotto. The presentation was beautiful. My only wish was that the portion had been a bit more generous, especially considering the $26 price tag. To accompany our dinner, we selected a bottle of Argentinian Malbec, and I was happy to see that not all the wine options were astronomically expensive. All in all, an amazing dining experience in Brunswick and we cannot wait to return!”

“Great little spot for breakfast (and lunch! — but we only did breakfast). The (bacon) egg and cheese sandwiches are well made and delicious. (I liked deviating from my usual NYC-style [B]EC on a roll by opting for [B]EC on a croissant.) If the line is long, there’s a grab-and-go warmer with premade sandwiches — but they’re pretty fast even with a crowd waiting. Great coffee too! Strong recommend. Would visit again!”

“LOVE the island bake shop! The deck is wheelchair accessible and you can enter through that side door to avoid steps. They have such a great variety of cold sandwiches, baked goods, pizza, and appetizers. My favorite was the sausage pizza and their blush vinaigrette salads. They even serve a hot dog on a brioche bun, which was delicious. We kept coming back throughout our trip to enjoy wine(&beer) on the patio to watch the boats and say hi to the locals walking past. Just what the island needed!”

“This place was everything people say it is. GREAT!! We had the pleasure of stopping in to try all sorts of donuts and treats. They have a vegan selection as well for those with allergies or preference. The prices were very reasonable but make sure you make time to go as there is usually a line to purchase something. They have beverages, clothing and other souvenirs for purchase. Some tables available but get occupied pretty fast. There is a bathroom on premise as well for your convenience. The staff were all polite. Even at the last minute when staff is ready to close up were still polite and ensured all waiting customers were served. Now that's awesome service. It's on the strip and lots to do around but make sure you leave some time to hit his place up. You won't regret it!”

“The food is great, the grilled cheese sandwiches are the best, although there were couple times when they were not done right, and I think that’s due to maybe a new employee. The manager needs to brighten up and put a smile on her face when dealing with customers. I wish they put all sides like drinks and chips on their online orders, so you don’t have to stand in long line to pay for them, while your menu order is already ready to be picked up. I brought that up to the manager, she was kind of rude and said they don’t have time to shop for customers, and that will be loss of time for them. I brought it up again few months later to one of the staff, she was polite, pleasant, and friendly when she explained that they don’t always have an idea of what kind of inventory they have that day, which is a nicer answer and a nicer attitude.”

“My work place hired Oga Suya in admittedly short notice, and they fully delivered! They worked quickly with us as well, sending us the invoice, and requesting the paperwork needed from us as we are a non-profit within the hour of our request. We had ordered 4 separate items, suya chicken wings, suya chicken leg quarters, vegetable suya, and puff puff. The last photo is less than 15 minutes later; it was all gone! Everyone loved it, and I have a feeling that we will be using their catering service again in the future!”
