“A couple of friends and I went here for a birthday dinner the other night. From the second we walked in, the staff was incredibly accommodating. Since two of us had arrived early and were waiting for the rest of the party, they let us sit outside and wait so we could decide as a group whether or not to sit outside. We decided to remain outside where our waitress secured us excellent seating - table with the fire-pit and the surrounding heaters turned on: we were perfectly toasty for the rest of the evening. Our waitress, Allison was attentive, very kind and extremely helpful. There was never a moment when our glasses were less than half full. Her recommendations suited our table perfectly and made for a great night!”

“My friend and I went here for a quick bite. We heard that the burgers were good and being a burger fanatic I decided to try. I ordered the bbq cheese bacon burger with crispy sweet potato fries. The burger was perfectly cooked to my order and the meat wasn’t over seasoned. The fries were crispy and delicious. The portion was huge and the prices were good. Also there was maple syrup on the table. Tasted AWESOME with my sweet potato fries!”

One of the dishes was a risotto made fresh from start to finish with perfect texture and consistency - very impressive and unusual that a chef devotes this amount of effort and time during service. The kicker? Not very expensive relative to the quality and quantity of food. Very well done in the top tier category of Portland fine dining.”

My party and I ended up getting almost twice as much food as we were originally going to get thanks to suggestions from our waitress, and it was definitely a good call as everything we were suggested was great. Very nice atmosphere inside. The restaurant is located in the corner of a building on two relatively quiet roads, so the large windows provide nice scenery that isn't ruined by constant traffic. Highly recommended to anyone who enjoys Japanese food, and is my current go-to sushi place.”

“This rating is all about that Classic Italian sandwich. The quality I'm used to from other establishments is basically around some sort of brick oven bread, authentic Italian cold cuts,etc. Amato's was different. It was open-face, with a slight fold lengthwise. It had crisp fresh peppers, sliced olives and some very good quality tomato slices over an excellent combination of cold cuts and provolone. It was more than drizzled with olive oil and vinegar. Adding a couple of sour pickle slices to all this nailed it! The bread was chewy white. Altogether, it's hard to describe how delicious this was. Eating it felt definitely like a sandwich, but also somehow like pizza, and maybe a little salad. Very satisfying, I look forward to having another on my next trip to Portland!”

“Good brewery in Portland. The people inside are very pleasant and cozy They're working to extend the tasting room. Currently don't serve food, only some snack like chips and pop corn. The beers seem like genuine. We did two flights, served with funny nice black board tray, where you can write four 4 chosen. We tasted the IPA, my favourite was the Finder. Also the melon beer was interesting... If you are in Portland this place worth a visit!”

“We attended an 80th Birthday Celebration in Yarmouth yesterday afternoon that was catered by The Maine Lobsterbake Co. It was absolutely the BEST Lobsterbake we have ever attended. The food was fabulous and perfectly cooked: the clams were perfect, the corn was perfect, the lobster was perfect, the strawberry shortcake was perfect, as was the yummy Birthday Cake. Nothing was overlooked or cooked too long or forgotten. The table of cheeses and shrimp was just right, too. In addition, the waitstaff were so friendly and charming...they added to the festivities. “Well situated, this little shop offers a bit of French crepes in the middle of Portland. The menu should fit any preferences and the crepes are really good. Service is rather fast, bit longer than in other places, but that is a fait cost to pay to eat well. Prices are low, you can eat for 2 for less than $20 which is pretty cheap for a city location. The owner has a real coffee machine and that makes a whole lot of difference. Highly recommended!”
