“The stuff in this 'restaurant' were absolutely ridiculously rude on both occasions I've gone. the first time was a Friday night and they had a young girl working at the front counter taking orders and then packing them up and handing them out. Obviously on a Friday evening they were rather busy. The shift leader at the time was a male around 30, and aside from being outright rude to the customers had that teenage girl damn near tears screaming at her because she didn't know what she was doing. Who put someone on a counter to train in the middle of the busiest rush of the week?! I was horrified, as well as other customers in the lobby.... I walked out without my food after I already paid for it because it took everything in me not to spit in the little jerks face. I told the girl she should walk out and go find some place that would appreciate her.... Fast for a couple weeks later and I figured I would give it another shot, I ordered two $5 boxes and some random things from taco Bell and after 9 minutes ask the cashier if I could just have my money back that I couldn't wait anymore and that she stood there looking at me like I was speaking in another language and said let me try to find a manager... walked aimlessly behind the counter, I waited about 4 more minutes and walked out again. So 2 for 2???? I'm sure the food is fine, if you can actually get your hands on it... But with the staff like that... I'll pass.”

“We went for lunch during the week and it was moderately busy, nonwait. The service was quick and very friendly. We both ordered the fish and chips and shared an appetizer. The spinach artichoke dip with pitas was very flavorful. The fish and chips were delicious and cooked perfectly. Though it was a large portion. We each had enough leftover for another meal which isn't necessarily a bad thing but you may want to share the entree. We will visit again for sure!”

“One of if not the best place to get seafood! Literally the only place I will eat out at when I want battered Clams, Scallops or Shrimp:) It is located in a beautiful area with lots of picnic tables on grass with lots of beautiful pine trees for shade if you want to stay out of the sun. Everything they make is GOOD:) The portions are big!! They also have an ice-cream window- yes!!! they actually have a window for ice cream service. The service works like this: the order windows are inside..you put in your order and they call your number. You pick up your food when they call your number..you can eat inside ( there is a small family friendly bar area if you want an adult beverage ) or you just carry your disposable tray of food outside to one of the picnic tables. PS: When I say family friendly bar I just mean that it is very low key and actually blends right in with the total family friendly atmosphere of Ken's...you might not even notice it:) Service is quick ( considering they seem to always be busy ). The staff is professional, well dressed ( in white and with aprons ) with lots of young summer hire associates who are friendly, sharp, on their game and focused on customer service. I love how they seem to always have an associate walking through the dining areas with a broom and dustpan keeping the dining area well maintained. The building has lots of wood and is designed along the lines of classic style Maine Diners. Lots of parking and trees and grassy areas for kids to run around and have fun in. I just at their today and ordered one of my favorites..battered clams and shrimp combo. I also love the clam and scallop combo but I had that last week so I went with the shrimp today. “Food is pretty good but a bit expensive for a chain. It's BBQ so that's to be expected I guess. Dinner without alcohol was about 23$ per person. Service was very poor. The waiter didn't know answers to simple questions. When he said he'd check he seemed to get lost and forget to let us know. Been there a few times and it's pretty consistent. With slow service and good but not amazing food. Good selection so you should be able to find something you like.”

“The pizza is delicious-it would have been better had there been more toppings on it (2 inches of exposed crust on outer edges). Cover the entire crust! If you don't, a 16 inch pizza becomes a 12 inch pizza! I ordered a 16 inch! The waiter was not great-had to ask him for more drinks, olives for a martini, fresh coffee... We tried at least 5 around the Gorham/Portland area until I tried this restaurant in Scarborough. Excellent Thai food and wonderful service. They are always so friendly when we pick up food.
