“This place was recommended to us for pizza, and all I can say is "wow"! The pizza was great. The staff were great, and even suggested a place to get a great view of the river falls behind the place! Better pizza then our favourite pizza place back home! When I pass through here again, I will definitely be stopping by!”

“You love Northeast Winter Sports? Take your riding seriously? No enthusiasts cap is complete without the feather from The White Wolf Inn. Countless adventures have been launched from these hallow halls. The place drips historic nostalgia. Seconds from some of the best skiing and riding in the country, its worth the trip just to spend a night here. We had epic meals in the downstairs bar. Truly something for everyone even the pickiest among our crew. Clean, Cool, High Caliber Kitchen firing delicious North Country Fare. I cant wait to go back.”

“This place was amazing! We only spent 1 night there, it wasn't even a whole night as we attended a concert at a nearby venue, but, in was beautiful. The service was amazing. After the concert we went back to the lodge I was hungry, so I asked the manager(? )If any where close was open she said no, but she could make me a salad, even though their restaurant was also closed I said thanks, but don't go out of your way. 15 minutes later she appeared with a beautiful salad. That was amazing. We will definitely go back when we have more time”

“Great spot. We were pleasantly surprised by how good the food was. Service was also excellent. Our only comment of substance is that the restaurant should rebrand as Sugaritas!!”

“Great atmosphere, awesome patrons, and better brews! This place is a hidden gem in downtown Wilton. The food is bar food but elevated to a better level and you can get flights of pickles, jerky and crunchy snacks, perfect for an evening of drinking!!”

“Wow! Hands down the best Thai food I have had in a long time. I ordered online and arrived at the scheduled pick up time. My food was coming out of the kitchen as I walked in. The dining area was spacious and clean. Couldn’t have had a better experience. Really nice to see many familiar faces behind the counter!”

“Seasonal veggies (some type of pea in a pod) pods were like twigs and peas were hard as rocks. Definitely not a spring pea. Sauteed peppers & cauliflower were fine. Had the Prime Rib rather small cut for the price. Mashed potatoes were very good. Dessert: brownie sundae was awesome good ratio of brownie, ice cream, hot fudge and whipped topping. Peanut butter pie was also very tasty.”

“Fun, upbeat place. They select some of the best local beers for their taps. Lamb meatball appetizer was almost an entree. Also had bbq chicken pizza which was top-notch. Call ahead for a reservation - this an understandably busy place!”

“Amazing. Gem of a find. Stopped in for a quick burger and hungry in the back country. Found the best BBQ restaurant in Maine. They are definitely not scared of flavor, which is a refreshing change, and they care about the product they put out. Ended up ordering the ribs and brisket platter with extra sides. Cannot go wrong with any of it. What a pleasant pre-fishing afternoon. Sixth star for the great bartender.”

“Absolutely amazing omelette! I don’t know that the picture does it justice, but it was clearly mouth-watering before even approaching it. I believe my order was mushrooms, bacon, spinach, and cheddar, but imagine any omelette that came from this kitchen would be wonderful. Clean and pleasant environment, with good service. I’d make a point of re-visiting Moose Alley for the omelette.”

“More expensive then expected. Wasn't told the wait when we sat down as it was well over an hour and a half to get food. At 45 min didn't even get our appetizer. When asked about it was told they just started to make it, and ok that's fine. But 45 min after that it was getting dark and we wanted to get back to the campground. We politely asked for the food to be prepared to go once ready. Ironically 5 min later it was at the table. Other waitress possibly owner asked if we knew the wait when we sat down and we answered no. We were fine with it just needed to go, she kind of had an attitude while we were paying. It wouldn't had been input into the review if she would have just said sorry for the wait. Anyway the food was just ok, not a real smoke flavor or much BBQ sauce at all on my brisket sandwich. The locals seemed to like it, that's what matters.”

“We rented a pontoon boat for the day. Gary was very friendly and helpful in getting us acclimated to the boat and the lake. Even though the fish didn't cooperate, we had a very relaxing and enjoyable time cruise the lake. And the friendly ladies at the deli made us some great subs for a nice lunch on the lake.”

“What a lovely little restaurant! We loved it so much on a date, we took family back the next day during vacation. Pizza is amazing (the crust!) and the cheese curds are delicious. Blackberry blonde brew hit the spot as well. Staff was friendly and attentive.”

“Great little family restaurant. My kids had the pizza which was really fresh and tasty. I had the lasagna which was described as, "made with love", and I definitely tasted the love. It had a ton of meat and the perfect amount of cheese. The service was spot on, friendly and attentive. I was reluctant based on previous reviews, but very pleasantly surprised. Well done Red Onion, well done!”
