Dennett's Wharf of Castine

Dennett's Wharf was so delicious, we went twice on our week long vacation. Definitely give the lobster rigatoni a try (as long as you save room after the amazing hush puppies and rolls) - this family style dinner was amazing. The view topped the whole experience off. The harbor in Castine at sunrise is the perfect way to experience dinner.

We have been to the new and wonderful Dennet’s wharf several times since they opened. The renovations are beautiful and the place is well designed, welcoming, and so comfortable. The food is 1st class, well prepared, well presented, and delicious. Service was friendly and very professional, even on the busy July 4th weekend our food arrived promptly. We are so thrilled to have Max, Ingrid, Taylor, and their team here in Castine.

Wonderful to see an institution of Castine back up and running revamped and renewed! The menu is sourced from as many local farms and producers as possible, which is wonderful to see. The food is a huge improvement over the past few years as well. Well done crew! It is definitely worth the trip for the views, the friendly staff and the wholesome, delicious food. All the predictable bounty of the ocean prepared with expert hands.

I've been twice already this summer, and plan to return several times as family come to visit.
Delicious food in a fun, casual environment.
Loved the burger and the haddock. Great drinks and super attentive service.
And what a beautiful spot to enjoy a meal with family.
Not cheap, but well worth it. Could be the best meal I've eaten in Maine.

We are visiting Maine from the UK and came here for an evening meal.
The restaurant has a great outlook over the water with a nice timber deck with outdoor seating.
We really enjoyed the seafood and chicken wings with the enthusiastic and attentive staff doing their best … this place had only just opened.
Whilst you are here spend some time walking around Castine to look at the majestic streets and historic houses.
Well worth the detour!
