“Our first time at the brewery- Halloween night- we enjoyed a several great beers* and had fun listening to live music while checking out people’s costumes. The place felt comfortable & roomy despite the large number of people. I didn’t eat but the food looked and smelled tasty. Like most Midcoast experiences in Maine, it’s not perfect- but the employees are very nice & working hard, the patrons were friendly, and it was authentic. We’re all lucky to have this place in Rockland.”

“Went for the first time around 4pm last week coming from Vinalhaven. So exciting to have somewhere like this so close after the ferry boat ride! We ordered that morning online for dine in - easy enough process. If my husband can do it, anyone can - the most complicated part was choosing from so many amazing sounding options! We got there a little earlier than our specified time, but when we let them know we got our food super quickly. Nothing disappointed. Chicken was amazing -flavorful and super crispy, sauces delicious - again, super flavorful, and portions were just as expected and described on the menu. We got a sandwich, tenders and a loaded fries and it was enough to fully and happily stuff us but leave a little extra for snacks when we got home. “Lani & her team at Megunticook Market catered a picnic at Merryspring for our son's wedding weekend this month. The food was delicious and the presentation so nice! We ordered the charcuterie, crudite, fruit salad, rollup platter, smoked salmon, country dessert platter, and mini whoopie pies. We had very few leftovers. I recommend it all! “The oysters were fresh and delicious! The salmon tartare was mouthwatering and melted in my mouth. I wasn’t a fan of the large plantain chips they were on but that’s on my sensitive teeth. The onion soup was comforting. The lava cake was too small 🤣 and it paired well with the port wine. Definitely go and enjoy yourself. It is a pity that you can view the marina but it wasn’t a deal breaker for moi.”

“First visit. Tried the brisket sub and the brisket taco. Meat had an excellent smoked flavor. We live near Memphis and this brisket is as good or better than we have had there! The sub with fries was a lot for one person, could have shared. My wife said her one taco was perfect in taste and portion size. Nice sitting area.”

“Nice little bar down the road from where my family lives. Love the atmosphere, and the bartender is awesome. Family friendly, our kids like to come with us. They have 2 pool tables, dining tables, and bar seats if you choose to get some delicious grub. They also have a mug club with an annual fee. It pays for itself in discounts and other perks. My husband joined as #1 for the mug club. It's a nice place to check out. Ask about the mug club when you go if you're a local. Relax, have a drink, and enjoy your time out.”

But I must warn- they give a spice rating of 1-10 that I think could use some improvement. I chose 2 and it was super spicy, a little too much even. So, be conservative! “I’m glad I came out for the food, might not come back because of the service. Drove out to experience this restaurant and I was not disappointed when I walked in the door. Modern interior that is kept clean, nicely spaced dining areas. Simple, clean, and efficient. The only criticism is the service. There were 3 tables seated and two servers. The two servers rarely came out to check on the tables and refill waters/clear the table. Spent most of the time in the back. I’d come back in an instant if the service were improved.”

“One time I called these guys asking when they closed. Their response was "Never." Ever since then, I knew I would love this place. The food is actually pretty great and the prices aren't too bad. The gas is a little higher than normal but that is okay. It is a pretty clean place as well. Easy in and out.”
