Brown's Wharf Inn, Restaurant, & Marina

Wonderful spot in a great area. Hope to come back again someday, but would only stay on the top floor. Was on the first, and both at night and early morning, you could hear every move from the folks upstairs. Not that they were loud, just walking on the floor made it creak, not their fault at all, just the building. If you're a light sleeper, trust me, go for the 3rd floor.

A quaint little place to get breakfast or dinner. We went for breakfast and found the atmosphere quite inviting and the staff friendly and hospitable. It was a shame to see they weren't using outside seating but it did not detract too much. There were a few too many flies for my liking but my girlfriend says it's to be expected with a seaside restaurant. But most important is the food. I had some eggs and French toast and my girlfriend got the gravy and biscuits. The eggs were cooked easy over to perfection. The French toast had a nice crisp crust and a delectable, chewy interior. Their Maine maple syrup was also top notch. The biscuits were homemade and it definitely showed. The gravy was also incredibly good. The food more than made up for the cleanliness. Overall a pleasant experience.

Food was awesome, I had two lobsters and they were great. You can tell everything is really fresh. Service was friendly and helpful, and you can't beat the view - right on the water. Prices were super reasonable as well. Planning to go back as soon as I can, and would recommend highly!

Great place. Situated on the quiet side of the harbor with easy access to downtown. Dock staff are always helpful and courteous. Good people. Also have a great sense of humor. Relatively small and quiet marina, easy access and in good condition. Power, cable and water available dockside. What's not to like? I return year after year and will continue to do so.

Fantastic spot on the quieter side of the harbor. Went there for dinner one night during the summer. Food was excellent and the wait staff were super friendly. Solid price for a full lobster. Checked out the dock after and ran into the owners son who wound up being the nicest guy. Would definitely recommend, can't wait to go back!
