P.S..... TRY THE DIRTY FRIES!!

After fun dusk Puffin watching cruise out of New Harbor we were scrambling for place to eat seafood dinner in the area. Some locals steered us here. This place was awesome on every level!!! Favorite place we have eaten in the Pemaquid, New Harbor and Boothbay Harbor area, hands down! First, the location on the scenic bay is spectacular, and the way they kept it casual, funky and hip is brilliant. Second, food was inspired and delicious, with traditional ME offerings and many others with inspired spin and flair. Kudos to the chef, who incidentally came out after our meal to make sure we enjoyed everything. Third, service was near perfect—our waiter was friendly, professional and fun, and we got our drinks and food in good time. Fourth, nice selection of wine, craft beers and fun cocktails. Next time in that area (we are from California) we will head directly to The Sole and know it will be a trip highlight. I know I’m gushing but we tried many other predictable eateries and this was such a refreshing standout.

Wonderful food! The seafood tacos are the best!! Dirty fries are a must! Service is wonderful. Views and location are postcard perfect!

Amazing! Mouth watering! Special!
Those are some of the main things that come to mind every time we eat here. We try to come a couple times during our visits to Maine and have never been disappointed. Chef Florin is a master at his craft and can turn food into something special. Craving a creamy and delicious clam chowder- they have it, what about a tender and succulent steamed lobster- check, maybe something different like a crispy duck fat pizza- oh man will you be blown away.

When planning our wedding reception we knew there was no better place to go. Owners Warren and Beth are an amazing team and with very little direction from me (being out of state) they created the wedding of our dreams. In fact a year later and family and friends STILL rave about the amazing food and cocktails served. Every appetizer came out hot and delicious (clam grilled cheese and lobster mac and cheese still haunt my dreams) and the lobster bake for 70 people was served perfectly which can be incredibly difficult to serve that many people at the same time and have the quality remain excellent. I can't wait to see Warren, Beth and Chef Florin again this summer, my mouth is practically watering just thinking about it.
