“The prices are a little high and the portions are not not generous necessarily. It's not your usual city Chinese but for the first time in fifteen years I ordered "extra spicy" and actually received a somewhat spicy entree. The quality is better than what a common city takeout would offer. You don't think twice about what kind of animal is in your meal, and they use pretty good quality ingredients. They skip food coloring and the vegetables are fresh. We don't eat out often but overall we enjoyed our meal.”

“I love the combinations of all their sandwiches! So flavorful & really just wakes up the pallet. One problem for me is their chicken more often than not is over cooked. It's hard, its dry. That could be worked on. Another issue I have (this is just a personal preference issue, not an error caused by them) but I hate their pickles. I could go the rest of my life without those pickles & I'd be a happier person. Their buffalo is awesome! Their blue cheese is awesome! Their slaw is amazing. I love their spicy bbq sauce! Everything really tastes like it's good quality. Their veggies always appear fresh and juicy. They definitely take pride in what they do. All over great. 4 stars and when they stop over cooking the chicken itll be 5.”

“Rating 5 stars as I may be a little biased since I work here, but I'm going to attempt to justify people's bad reviews. First off, the owners changed a little over a year ago, so most of the reviews on here from 1 or 2 years ago are for the old, original 'Fresh Ginger' and most likely don't apply to us now. For people claiming we have an unclean kitchen, we actually have a very clean kitchen. I myself have worked in other kitchens before and heard stories of other kitchens that are unclean, and Fresh Ginger Fusion is not one of them. We actually clean the kitchen and equipment every night. Second, we do have our lunch combos back! We got feedback from a lot of people and switched from lunch combos to dinner combos (as we're only open from 3pm to 9pm) and they have been a hit. Third, if you drive by and the parking lot is 'dead,' it's either because we are almost exclusively a takeout place (with the option to eat in,) or because you're driving by before 3pm. Lastly, we were actually voted best Chinese food in the greater Bangor area, so I personally don't understand how people can't like it.. I love it! And please, remember that mistakes do happen occasionally, but we always strive to fix things and make our customers happy. So call us up and order some of the best Chinese food around!”

“I've gone here so many times I've lost track. It has become my favorite place to grab lunch. It makes basically any day a lot better. They make it super easy to order online and customize it however you want. They have really good basil by the way. Depending on my mood I usually get either the Italian meatball sub on whole wheat with some olive oil, or the taco pizza, or a custom built pizza. But everything I've had there is excellent. They seem to use very good ingredients so you aren't left feeling greasy but instead very full and happy. They are also extremely polite. It drives my coworkers nuts as it smells really good. I noticed some reviews complain about wait time? I've not had this issue but I order usually 20 or so minutes before I take my lunch break and so by the time I get there it's ready and still hot. But if you did have to wait it's clearly worth the wait. It is a small place and they manage to serve a lot of people on the lunch hour and keep the quality very high.”

“Negatives 1st then positives. My sandwich. It was suppose to be light mustard and mayo. It was heavy on both.With so much mustard in my first bite of food I never got to tell just what my soup tasted like. The floor needed some serious vacuuming involving actually moving chairs. In one sense the decor might be a negative for some but we found the older decorations and the worn appearance added charm. My husband had the Buffalo wrap and enjoyed it. My onion rings were yummy enough my husband felt the need to keep nabbing them. The waitresses are working hard and it was clear it's a popular place to gather. If you want to support hard working waitresses making people feel welcome it's worth a visit, just ask for your condiments on the side.”
