“We came in opening day and even though they were very busy there was only about a ten minute wait. The entryway for waiting isn't heated so expect that to be a bit cold for now. The hostess and waitresses were very polite. Food was prepped quickly. The California roll was the best I've ever had. The lobster had what tasted like chocolate sauce on it and the crab rangoon were chewy but overall the food was quite good. I would definitely recommend.”

“I live in the area and have visited Oriental Express 4 or 5 times in the past couple months. I have to say that their Lo Mein is very good, as is the Teriyaki chicken. The orange chicken, and the honey chicken were also tasty (af). The fried rice was quite bland.. and the boneless ribs are different from what's served in a typical Chinese establishment. HOWEVER, the Bubble Tea was not good AT ALL. It was watery, and tasted like watered down Strawberry milk. Maybe it was an off day.. I don't know. But I won't be buying it there again. It's decent, and I'd do it again.”

“We came for dinner before seeing a play at the Penobscot theater across the street. We've been looking for a good local Thai place and this did not disappoint. My husband and I both got Thai iced teas that were great, the appetizer Thai dumplings were a stand out and were amazing (with a really yummy dipping sauce too!), I got the pad Thai, which had thinner noodles than I had before -- and it was really delicious!”
