“I stumbled upon Homeport Tavern after a long day of work, looking for a place to grab a drink and a good meal. Instead of the meal being good…wow. Exceeded my expectations. The bar was excellent. The bartender and staff very polite and courteous. Food was fantastic! I highly suggest the tavern burger, although honestly everything on the menu is great. Live music was a plus also. I’ll definitely be eating here again in the future. Homeport tavern is a great new addition to Searsport!”

Dough had great flavour, was the perfect texture/thickness and was cooked to perfection. The toppings were some of the most flavorful that we've ever had on a pizza! “The best lobster rolls ever. The meat is fresh and delivered daily never frozen. What a difference that makes! If you are lucky, you might be there when he owner, June makes her seafood chowder. A lot of fresh seafood and love goes in each batch. The crab rolls are also tasty. Make sure you get some excellent ice cream. This is in a cute setting with great owners. Baxter and his wife, June will take good care of you. Highly recommended!”

“We've eaten here a few times. Always pretty good. Portions are a good size (although this is the smallest half portion of the pot roast I've had from here). My finance had the fish which he loved. He said the batter was excellent. The FF's were hot and crispy and the veggies were good. The dinner rolls we got beforehand were fresh and hot. The staff is pretty nice here. The locals love this place. I've heard several staff members great patrons by name. You know you're doing something right when people come back.”

Every time I've taken her, the employees have been decent and have not needed up her order which makes her happy and in turn, makes me happy.
