Alisson's Restaurant

Server was good. We each really enjoyed our meal and the prices were reasonable plus the food was served relatively quickly. I had the burger with pepper jack cheese, fried avocado, arugula and pepper cracked bacon with chipotle mayo. It was to die for. And the deviled eggs potato salad was also delicious.

We visited Alisson's for the first time and it was a solid 5-star experience. Because we had eaten seafood elsewhere for lunch, we ordered a couple of sandwiches for our dinner here. A reuben for my wife and a mushroom burger for me. Both were outstanding. The sides were great also--coleslaw and really good potato salad. They saved the best for last--blueberry pie. Because the portions were so large we actually split the pie. Mouth watering and spilling over with LOTS of sweet blueberries. The only disappointment, and we have decided it is a "Maine thing," was the iced tea. Certainly nothing like we are used to drinking in the South. We were seated immediately and were served by a delightful young lady named Bridgette. Sandwiches were in the $10-12 range and a slice of the best blueberry pie on the planet with a scoop of vanilla ice cream was $6.95.

Tried lobster roll for the first time. OMG! Delicious! Also tried blueberry pie a la mode. Exquisite! Service was excellent despite large crowd. Don't miss this restaurant!

Stopped here on our first night in the area and it was great. Had the lobster bisque and the lobster roll and both were excellent. Quick service and nice staff.

Food was good. Ordered well done burgers and they came back pink. On a tight schedule and did not have time to get redone. Cheese pizza was loaded with lots of cheese. Very good. Had to ask for refills on drinks.
