Hurricane Restaurant

Sat at the bar and enjoyed great Bloody Mary's and lunch. We arrived as they opened and it was busy fast. We were all happy with our selections - haddock tacos, ahi tuna sandwich and Turkey with brie and bacon.

This place is okay- maybe unless you get a window seat; I’d sacrifice service and food for a view. Service was not great: our waitress was busy and it showed. I felt like we didn’t have time to ask her any questions, which is tough if you have an allergy. Food ranges from okay to good. We had the ravioli which lacked ravioli to match the amount of delicious, albeit slightly salty, toppings/sauce. The curried cauliflower lacked sufficient sauce and we didn’t have a chance to ask for any. My husband liked his smoked tuna a lot. Our drinks ran out. All at a pretty high bill. We went for the nostalgia as our family has been going there for years. Will try something else next time.

Delicious food, great service, fun atmosphere. The warm bread and olive oil to start are top notch. The seafood stew is well done and plenty of food. The short rib and potatoes don't require a knife.

Just had a great dinner--sliders and a veal chop. Both excellent. Service was attentive and friendly. Hurricane may have changed ownership, but the dining hot spot has not missed a beat.

I liked it a lot. It's decent for a port town. It has good selection of seafood or meat if you prefer if you're like me.
