The Crooked Pine

After web-sifting through the most popular restaurants, we decided to drive into downtown and make an in-person assessment of the eateries before choosing where to dine. The Crooked Pine never came up on any of the major review lists but as we walked the streets, we decided to give the ‘underdog’ a try based on its attractive exterior and lack of wait.

Everything about our experience could be rated a 10/10. The cocktails were excellent, the shrimp appetizer featured some of the largest yet perfectly cooked shrimp we’ve ever encountered. Scallops were cooked to PERFECTION. Service was fantastic, dessert was amazing.

We truly can’t wait to come back to this place! I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fine dining experience in a casual atmosphere with reasonable pricing. This place is the best of both worlds!

What a fabulous find! The waitress was so knowledgeable & recommended her favorites & also an incredible Cab. Try the salad with peaches & cashews. Very unique & yummy!

Food was Devine. Service excellent. Impressed they had Syrah on the wine menu. Great experience. 10/10 would recommend.

The food was delicious, the waitstaff very friendly and knowledgeable. Being outside on the patio on a beautiful night made it all the better.

I would highly recommend this restaurant and we will be back.

The Crooked Pine is a great new opening on Shore Road. The menu selections all sounded great, tough to choose just a couple of things. I saw some great looking appetizers like the mussels and lobster newberg. I’ll get those next time. I had the scallops and the beef carpaccio - both prepared with skill and incredible. The service at the bar was an A+ (Cody) and it genuinely appeared that the entire staff worked like a strong team to effectively service guests. Definitely going back.
