Spring Hill

I am scoring it as a restaurant, not an event site. The food was good, with a selection that appeals to a broad range of guests (I arrived with a large party), and very reasonably priced. The grounds and views are excellent, and it's easy to see why it's a preferred wedding locale. However, the kitchen and (limited) waitstaff seemed to be easily overwhelmed. (Revised rating upward after talking with more fellow diners, who all loved their food. Beware if impatient!)

We went to Lanternfest there and had a really good time. Lots of room outside for playing and parking. Face painting, food, make your own hanging lantern.and lots of great live music by Them Talking Monkeys! The lanterns for floating are already down by the water. Once it's dark, everyone parades down to the water with their lanterns and watches the lit floating lanterns leave shore. Fireworks on the water and back in the field too!

Nice event space. Food was good and staff was excellent.

We really enjoyed this spot. The food is very good and the view in the day is serene and comfortable. I had the German dishes. They were authentic and delicious! I will go back again. It is off the beaten track. I like that.
