The prices at this location have gone up, but I owe it to the recent remodel that has the dining room looking fabulous. Worth a little extra to me to eat in a nice, inviting dining room. Plus, this location has an indoor playground, a must in the cold north.”

“We stopped at Mae's Cafe for lunch, after parking a short distance away. The uphill walk was good for sharpening our appetites, and the downhill return was easy on our full bellies. The building is charming, both inside and out, especially the ancient tree growing through the porch. It was hard not to drool at the pastry case while awaiting our table (a short wait). Service was attentive, helpful and accurate - and non-intrusive. Our choices turned out to be delicious and nourishing. We must return sometime for breakfast!”
