“We LOVED this place! Southwest Harbor and Clark Point Cafe are truly the hidden gems of Acadia - it's much quieter and more peaceful away from the tourists, with all the same charm. Food in downtown Bar Harbor was mediocre at best, but the breakfast we had here was DELICIOUS - the dishes were fresh, flavorful, beautifully presented, and definitely made with love. We got the eggs benedict and the blueberry dutch baby pancake. The employees were extremely warm and personable, and a pleasure to speak to. We learned this is their first season open as a restaurant, and hope it stays for many seasons to come! Will definitely be back.”

“Stopped at Rias for lunch and glad we did. The owner is a sweetheart! Great people, producing great, tasty, fresh food. Check them out, you won't be disappointed. Sandwiches we ordered: The Frenchman's Bay, The Schooner Head and The Western Way, all excellent. Unfortunately, we devoured our sandwiches before being able to take any pics.”

“Ananda Luna cafe is my new favorite place. Krista makes everything fresh, with quality ingredients. Smoothies are amazing and chili is 10/10. And vegan!! The little shop has fun and unique treasures. Great for gifts, or for yourself! A must for anyone traveling through the area.”

“Great place! Lots of seating, but it felt a tiny bit cramped. Food was fantastic. Got the crab dip as a starter and I highly recommend. The seafood mac and cheese for my entree was fantastic - the scallops were cooked really well. Food came out timely and everyone had a good time!”

“Food is creative, tasty, and original. Service is good. Outdoor seating available, convenient to all parts of town. Would give it five stars but they stop serving dinner at 9pm while bar stays open past 1am.”

“We ate here 24 years ago and came back in August. Same place - cute little diner. It was busy but we got a table right away. This place is known for their Maine wild blueberry muffins and pancakes. My husband ordered the blueberry pancakes and he said they are just as he remembers them. Blueberries inside the pancakes, he said the way they should be. Very good pancakes. This is what they're known for. I ordered an omelet with breakfast potatoes. This was very good too. But the best part? They make gluten free blueberry muffins. I never expect restaurants to cater to diet restrictions, so I was beyond thrilled!!! This is a busy place and the servers are quick and efficient. They'll make a little small talk if they have time, but they are typically hustling. They are pleasant and can anticipate your needs.”

“Not open 24 hours. Town closes kitchens early but luckily this place had decent sandwiches and a microwave.”

“Very good food, but expect to wait. It's quite popular, and with all the cute outside seating, it really draws a crowd. We got the lobster eggs Benedict and it was very good. Coffee was just okay, and the maple in the maple latte was...subtle. Dog-friendly seating out on the lawn.”

“Cute little bakery walking distance to Deal Harbor. Probably the best breakfast we had on out trip! Blueberry Monte Cristo!”

“Stopped by for a quick lunch and was delighted to see their menu offered soups that were not chowder or bisque. (Can get a little tired of seafood around here) Had a lovely lamb stew soup with pretzel bread croutons. My husband had a delicious big chunk of bread pudding with maple syrup. Recommend a stopping here for lunch.”

“This was such a cool place full of wonderful people! Food is by donation only, the greatest pop overs I have ever had and such friendly staff! What a cool mission too! I can't wait to go back on my next trip!”

“Overall, everything we had was tasty but some of the pastries are just absurdly priced. We ordered three pastries at a total cost of just under $19 - including an apple tart that was over $9. Probably my fault for not asking before but it really caught me by surprise. No issues with quality - everything was very good, not life-changing though.”

“Stopped by for lunch on our way to the cabins a friend rented for the weekend and was very impressed with our first "taste" of the town of Manchester. Hubby & I opted to share the Barnyard Wrap along with a bowl of the Jerk Chicken Soup and boy am I glad we did. The wraps are as big as burritos and filled with fresh, flavorful ingredients- loved the added crunch of the carrots on our wrap and the honey mustard dressing was delicious. The Jerk Chicken Soup was rich, hearty and had just the right amount of heat for this spice loving girl but not too much for my tender tongued hubby and the freshly made whole wheat bread that came with it was very good. We also picked up jars of both dill & bread & butter pickles which perfectly complemented everyone's meal. The only part of the meal I wasn't a big fan of was the homemade chips - too thick and dense for my taste and not at all crispy. Next time we're in the area we will definitely stop in.”

“The staff at this McDonald's are very nice and polite. The food can be hit or miss, but if you specify you want it fresh, they accommodate without an attitude. In general one of the better McDonald's I've been too”

“Greetings locals, travelers and in betweeners! This diner by appearance may seem worn and torn from the outside, certainly the diner experience from the inside, albeit a bit rustic. It’s quite a local experience and if you’ve been here long you know that means charming and friendly. To our surprise (we ordered from the specials, which was a good variety), the food was obvious homemade and very good. Home fries were texture heaven, biscuits and gravy were just right, quiche was outstanding. I doubt you’re going to find a better overall diner and breakfast experience around town. The service was incredibly fast! I am glad o stopped by and very satisfied. Wishing the staff and establishment many years of good business and health. Thanks.”

“If you were ever in Ellsworth, and wanted to try local breakfast, you should definitely check this place out! It is located inside a small mall. When my family ate there, the other patrons seemed to know each other and servers. Obviously it is a close knitted community. Their food is delicious and aren’t pricey at all. Besides, servers are pretty friendly.”

“Unbelievable friendly staff and great service. Awesome lobster. Market prices were the best here by far. But the best thing was the home made onion rings. They were great.”
