“It was a little bit of a wait after ordering but the young lady behind it counter was excellent as she was pretty busy! I had a breakfast croissant that consisted of sausage egg cheese and sliced thin green apples which added a really good flavor and different there was also a maple flavor to it Don't remember what it's called. My wife had a ham egg and cheese omelette that she said was delicious. It's cool atmosphere and they offer something for everybody. Check them out and if you're in the area definitely go!”

“Head to the shack in back not the big building on premises to get this famous Maine donut. Potato donuts are denser and fantastic. There are no bad flavors, however the chocolate sea salt, the lemon, and cinnamon sugar are my go to donuts. The only drawback of this location is a lack of seating, and there is no covered seating. So being able to sit down and have a donut here is weather dependent (unlike the one in Portland). Regardless, these donuts are delicious and a must try.”

“Was driving around looking for on-street parking to get to the beach - meters were right in front of this spot. Perfect. Noticed a small line, which is always a hint of a good food stop so I hopped in line just before 8am. Great quick breakfast sandwich, but get here early. Even on a Saturday morning post Labor Day/basically out of tourist season the line got deep fast after 8am. Staff member was outside taking orders for people who knew what they wanted to speed up the line (inside is very tight). Ordered a sausage egg and cheese with a black ice tea to go. Under $9 and 10 minute wait. Proceeded to walk 2 minutes to the beach and enjoy my breakfast in peace. For the price, quality, and proximity to the beach this was a solid find.”

“Stopped in for a quick bite to eat for lunch with a party of nine. Had quick service to set up some extra tables for us so we could all sit together outdoors. Food offerings were adequate for lunch, but the wait for the food was a bit long. This is understandable though, as some in our party ordered grilled fish. “We drove up to Maine for the day and got some assorted donuts to take home. We were so disappointed when we finally opened the box whose heavenly aroma had been filling the car for hours. They were the most amazing donuts I had ever tasted. The strawberry shortcake was dense, yet light and creamy. The monkey bread was like sampling little cinnamon roll morsales. My husband who asked me not to get him anything took a bite and asked when we were going back. We live 3 hours each way ???????? We are still going through withdrawals. So good, reasonably priced, and an eclectic assortment. It is now on our must stop list when heading north.”

“My whole family stay's here every year for the past 7 years now. The place has a lot of space options. Hotel rooms & suites, to apartments, to whole houses. The past 3 years, we have settled into the Carriage House and it comfortably holds our whole family and then some, we've had as many as 18 at one time. The indoor pool is great for the kids and we use it every day after sitting on the beach.”

“Really delicious. I had the pork hand pie and a raspberry Danish. Hubby had an everything bagel and a cinnamon bun. The hand pie was perfectly soft and crumbly. The one thought I had was if it came with a spiced Apple chutney to smear on it I think I would have dreamt about it for weeks. The Danish was the perfect pastry and just the right balance of tart and sweet, creamy and crispy. The bagel was full of flavor on it's own and super light and airy inside. The smoked salmon cream cheese was gorgeous and the cinnamon bun also delicious. Everything was served on cute mismatched antique China plates and the decor was warm and cozy. The place is out of the way on a side street in what looks like a three story white house. Be sure to look and not miss it. It's well worth hunting for. We will definitely definitely go back and often.”

“One of the reasons I like Dunkin Donuts is the consistency of their product across the board. When I visit any of their many locations I know exactly what to expect. The prices are stable from location to location also so I know about what it will cost me for my family to stop in for a treat. P.S. “Stopped there on a whim. We passed it as we were going to Starbucks. As we had never been to a Krispy Kreme before, we decided to check it out. So glad we stopped. It was awesome. Melt in your mouth donuts. Fantastic variety, although I recommend sticking with the basic glazed donut. You can't beat a classic. Staff were friendly and patient as we took what felt like forever to make our choices. Best part was watching the donuts being made on the conveyor belt. Added bonus...free glazed donut ????.”

“Our tire pressure light went on so we got off the highway and were happy to see that this station had air. I used my credit card to pay the $1.00 but the machine did not turn on. Scrounging around in the car, we found four quarters, inserted them and everything worked fine. We went into the store and bought a sandwich and some fruit and I mentioned this to the cashier who said that the credit card function hadn't worked in a while. It apparently worked well enough, however, for the charge to show up (although it fell off a few days later) but not well enough for the machine to activate. They should either fix this or, at the least, put a sign on the machine that the credit card function isn't working and to use quarters.”
