Fat Boy's Crab Shack

Ate there a week ago and had Cream of Crab soup and the Jumbo Grilled chicken wings. The soup was a 6 out of 10 not great but about average. The Jumbo grilled wings were large and cooked perfectly. about a 9.5 out of 10. Well, I went last night and got the same thing.. The soup this time was much better a 8.5 out of 10. The "Jumbo" wings last night were small and burned. So disappointing. They were maybe a 3 out of 10. Why the inconsistency??. Maybe they ran out of the Large wings and gave us the small ones? Even though they were burned, I was hungry, I ate 3 of the 6 wings and ended up throwing them up because they burned skin made me feel so sick. No excuse for this. Was looking forward to getting those delicious grilled wings again.. Probably won't be back now. MANAGEMENT you need to work on consistency. If you run out of the jumbo wings don't just substitute the small wings. TELL THE CUSTOMER. You probably just lost a future regular weekly customer.

Great little crab shack. They have good prices on the food and even better drink prices. It's not the biggest restaurant so it can be hard to get a table when the outdoor area is closed. It's a nice spot for a quick drink.

Fat Boy's has a great atmosphere to have a beer and catch up with a friend. Casual dining, flavorful pub grub and reasonably priced drinks. The outdoor deck area is great, as you can watch the kitchen staff steam crabs and shrimp.

Just loved this place! Great atmosphere and vibe here. Had the wings to start. You have to try the wings with jerk sauce, they are delicious. Just the right combination of heat and tang. Had to have the huge crab cakes. They are mostly meat with very little filler. The staff was incredibly friendly and the service was unbeatable. Can't say enough good things about it other than to say I am definitely going back.

Such a good local spot off a road in Maryland for drinks and food. It really has the neighborhood bar vibe. Delicious crabs, crab cakes, seafood specials, and land lovers fare. Make sure to order at the counter first and place your drink orders at the bar right behind. Come hangout and have a good time.
