The Local Oyster

If the photo does not say it all (and it doesn't) I don't know what to say except you will experience a phenomenal customer service experience as well! Go feast.

Oysters are always delicious! And the service is excellent!

Located at 520 Park. Set-up as an upscale Lexington Market. Local Oyster is a seafood provider that seems to draw a nice local crowd. I tried their crab soup - not at all impressive for a MD based eatery promoting local sourced eats. Only tasted pepper, not the crab or veggies. Will try something else to give them another chance.

Hands down my favorite oyster bar in town. Nick, the owner, is such a notable baltimore personality and you get that from his spot. With a revolving oyster menu your bound to find one that you love. Not into oysters? No biggie their crab soup / crab cakes / mussels/ shrimp will for sure do the trick! Take a look at this food

Service has been hit and miss the few times I've gone. Once it took several minutes to be acknowledged while a server chatted with a customer at the bar, another time everyone there came over and asked if I'd been helped. It has consistently taken at least 15 minutes to get food after ordering, so while this is a good spot to get beers and a casual meal with friends, I wouldn't recommend it if you're trying to get a bite on your lunch break. Ordered a crab chowder that had very little crab in it. I want this place to do well because I love seafood, but not sure if I want to play service roulette again.
