Cafe Fili

A bright, casual spot with fresh options including salads, grain bowls and panini. The desserts look lovely, though I did not sample. Vegetarian and even vegan friendly. Looks like some great wine and evening specials....!

Outstanding Mediterranean! They have the best and freshest hummus I’ve ever eaten (get the Hummus Trio). My partners and I have loved every dish, including the Falafel Grain Bowl, the Moroccan Cassoulet, the Roasted Cauliflower, and several others that come and go from the menu. We love the space, the service, and the desserts! Cafe Fili is the rare restaurant where the food is truly worth more than it costs. Add to that the super-comfortable intimate atmosphere, the world music (at the perfect, low volume) and the polite and attentive service, and you have a place you'll want to return to again and again—like we do!

This is a well lit, spacious, cafe with incredible food. The location is tucked away along a small street in Mount Vernon but it's certainly worth the trek. Their grain bowls are delicious, as are all of the items on the menu. If you're looking for clean eating or a quiet place to work, this is the place. Prices are very reasonable as well.

It was a pleasant experience at Cafe Fili. The restaurant is located in the heart of Mt. Vernon. The restaurant is minimally decorated yet it’s beautiful. The service was great. I had a great encounter with the staff and restaurant manager. I must say that they were very friendly, accommodating, and professional. I tried their roasted lamb with grains off their lunch menu. It was great and loaded with a lot of flavor. I enjoyed it. I will be visiting this restaurant again to try other things on the menu. Well done!

Friendly staff, Jazz night on Friday nights is dope. The pesto hummus is out of this world. Good little spot to grab a bite and chill. Good atmosphere to get some work done. Overall it is definitely a Cafe environment very laid back, I love the copper and stone decoration
