This was our first visit to this gem of a restaurant. After reading the 1 star reviews I decided to ignore them for the 5 stars. The restaurant is small and not very fancy however the hosts which Ia m sure are the owners were very friendly. The service was great, very attentive and helpful considering this is not your everyday Indian menu. The food was AMAZING from the small plates to the main dishes. One complaint I have with most Indian restaurants is the small portions of Nan , put not here!!
I recommend you give this place a try, you will not leave unhappy!!
Nice restaurant. Enjoyed the delicious Indian dishes on offer, and the owner is a gentleman. Highly recommended
More interesting and fun take on Indian food. The dishes are recognizably Indian, but different enough to be pleasantly surprising. The owner-manager was the host when we went and was gracious.
My niece and her boyfriend come here all the time and since it is our first time in Baltimore, they decided to take us here. This place is literally the best Indian restaurant I have ever been to! Not only was the food delicious, but the staff was so welcoming and attentive. I highly recommend if you are in the Baltimore area!
We have now returned twice and brought friends each time. The menu is a modern take on Indian food - same spices with innovative recipes, as well as some new takes. Some stand outs for us are the broccoli fig soup and their beet salad. I think they do seafood extremely well, which hasn’t always been my experience at Indian restaurants. Their cardamom crime brûlée dessert is well executed. The staff is always attentive and the owners are around to offer suggestions. They are extremely approachable and proud of their restaurant and look for ways to improve. They also have a small private room available.
