Gyroll Shawarma

Staff is very nice and friendly. Service is quick. Food is delicious. Very fresh. Chicken sandwiches are delicious. Falafel bowl was also pretty good.

Alright. I had such a pleasent experience at Gyrol Shawarma located in the Cross St markets. Faras was very kind, passionate, and helped me perfect my first Gyroll bowl on this chilly night. I enjoyed the unique flavors in my mixed lamb and beef combo and enjoyed the addition of the black bean stew and the recommended okrs stew. I'll be coming back to try another one of their sides. The grapeleaves was well balanced I regret not get an extra helping. I also enjoyed the sample of the limeade. I hope to come baxk and try one of their spicer combinations.

No doubt in my mind, Gyroll is the tastiest place in Cross Street Market right now.

The toppings were all excellent quality and flavour and the meat was tender and generously portioned for their wrap. 💯/💯

The mint lemonade was also super flavourful and didn't taste artificial to me at all, which was a welcome surprise. My husband and I chugged it, lol.

The market doesn't seem like the best place for vendors, I highly recommend stopping by and supporting this place to keep them around as long as possible.

Have now tried two of their gyrolls and both have been amazing. Flavorful and well proportioned. They understand the rights amounts of each ingredient to ensure no one thing is overpowering the other flavors. You have lots of options as you walk down the line adding items to your gyroll. Staff is delightfully nice and obviously passionate about the food they serve. The mint lemon drink is refreshing and perfectly compliments the savory meat.

Authentic shawarma cooked on a spit - it’s so good! There are a lot of high quality toppings to choose from, the sauces are all great, the staff is super friendly and patient, and it’s priced right as well.

I was so happy with what I got and I’m glad this place is in our neighborhood.
