The Manor

We looked at several choices to celebrate Balto. County Restaurant Week and settled on an old favorite, The Manor Tavern, because their menu was so broad. We find that many restaurants who participate have very limited menus or serve smaller portions at the reduced price but that could not be further from the truth for The Manor Tavern. The restaurant is located in quiet Monkton, a beautiful area defined by big estates, lots of trees and horses. The building itself suffered a devastating fire years ago and has been rebuilt but still keeps its sleepy, rustic charm. The Restaurant Week menu included about 10 first course choices plus soups and salads, another 8 or so second courses and dessert for $35.35. For appetizers, we chose the fried oysters which were light and delicious and a generous portion of steamed mussels in a tasty broth with garlicky bread for dipping.

I'm almost annoyed how GREAT this place is run. The food is amazing. I don't even look at my check because it's priced very competitively. I just make a reservation then make new friends. ???

It is "THE PLACE" to have dinner and drinks in Baltimore. I've even met the owners and they're sooo accommodating. The staff are knowledgeable and very friendly (beautiful too!).

If you don't go this restaurant and ultra-lounge, you're missing out!

Wow! Stunning interior & decor, super friendly and professional staff and amazing food. I split the French Dip and Club Sandwich with a friend, and they were both so delicious, I'm very happy that we shared so we could try both. The rest of our group was also raving about their food and we were all happy and full when we left. I also had the Moria's Rose cocktail (great name!), which was light and refreshing. I came in with high expectations and still left amazed. Great job, guys, and welcome to the neighborhood! Will definitely be back for more wonderful experiences!

We just had the most delicious and fun dinner celebrating my friend’s birthday! The restaurant is beautifully decorated, the food was delicious and the service was impeccable! We had a party of 10 and ordered pretty much all the apps to share. Everything came out out timely, presented nicely and tasted amazing! We had the best time; the staff is warm, friendly and go above and beyond to make your experience memorable and enjoyable. Our waiter Mikael(spelling?) was on top of things, very patient and super nice! Thank you for taking care of our party! We will be back!
