Kumari Restaurant & Bar - Mount Vernon

This is my favorite resturant in Baltimore. I love their super creamy version of chicken tikka masala. Their lunch buffet is delicious and an amazing value.

Kumari is delicious :) but they also have amazing customer service. I ordered from them through Postmates. They held onto my food for 30 minutes and when I called, they offered to send their own delivery guy to me free of charge. They do good business!

I occasionally stop by at the restaurant, take a seat by their roadside-facing window with their delicious chai. Food tastes great too - but the chaaaai is pure indulgence!

This place used to be good. However, I feel like the quality of the food and service has gone downhill. The new female servers are rude and barely do their job. I heard Buddhi, the original owner, sold the place. Perhaps that is why things aren't like they used to be.

Went with my girlfriend for the buffet. It was a pleasure having lunch there. They have alot of space and a great layout for such a small building so we weren't sitting on top of other people. They also had a person at the buffet to help people who weren't familiar with Indian food. Food was delicious. Will surely be going back.
