Sykesville Station Restaurant and Bar

My girlfriend and I stopped by on a Sat night. Can’t say enough about this restaurant. Our waitress greeted us and explained the menu and told us about all the specialty cocktails they had that night. I ordered the shrimp and grits with a side dish called street corn skillet. The food was very flavorful with a medium spiciness. Later in the evening the owners came by to chat a little bit. This was very thoughtful as they wanted to know how our experience was. If you’re looking for a very warm and friendly environment with great food, I would definitely recommend this place.

The service was fantastic!! We had sausage queso appetizers the chips were really stale and the queso barely warm. However, the burgers we ordered made up for the lackluster appetizer.

I absolutely adore this place! It’s rare that you find a restaurant where you want to try literally everything on the menu. The drinks are so fun and delicious too! Great experiences every time!

The restaurant is placed in front of a train track and lake which creates such beautiful views when you eat outside.

Went tonight to enjoy some post Tropical Storm weather. The atmosphere is great, the renovations looked amazing. So happy to see a place that had so much potential actually come to life! Service was a little slow, but I will say everyone was coming around to ask how things were, so I understand a new place has some time to grease the gears. Would like to have seen some more local beer offerings, esp given the proximity to 1623 (I had their IPA on tap). I got the sirloin with roasted Brussels and that did not disappoint. 10 of 10 would order again. Thank you for adding such a new and exciting place to our community and we look forward to many many years and happy hours. Thank you!
