Jersey Mike's Subs

This is the best sub sandwich place. They slice the coldcuts as they make the sandwich. So you only get one exposed slice. Same with cheese. They make it like a fresh deli. Get it Mike's way!

Good food, lots of nice subs. Food is fresh and served fast. Pricey but worth it. Service needs improvement

When you're from New Jersey ( South Jersey near Philadelphia), and you go to a place named Jersey Mike's Subs, you're expectations are high. Very high. The Italian sub we got was just okay. Nothing like we get back home. More like a Subway sandwich.

As advertised, jersey mikes supposedly offers a gluten free bun, or the option to have a “sub in a tub with no bun.” Yesterday, my mother and i visited this location to order subs in a tub (she is gluten free and I am low carb). We informed the person taking our orders that my mother has a gluten allergy. As you cannot guarantee that your restaurant is certified gluten free, the least you could do was inform your staff to not use the same gloves, knives etc on a sub in a tub, and then proceed to set our tubs on top of a pile of bread crumbs and then “accidentally” sprinkle said bread crumbs into the sub in a tub aka a salad. Not only that, they were making 6-8 subs at a time without changing gloves. Can you say health violation?

I am editing this review from a one star to a 4 star. Although my visit was not as expected at this location, Debbie (responded below) has handled my complaint in a very timely manner.
