“used to really like this place. great spot for a quick lunch. big table by the window was great for people watching. over time though things seem to have gone downhill. soda machine is always out - last time i was in, there were only 2 options left. ordered the 2 slices + drink, but the order got lost somehow. when it was finally made the crew forgot it in the oven and it burnt, so had to re-make the order. second time came out cold. additionally, the big table by the window could use a good scrubbing. seems to have gotten sticky over the year(s).”

“Enjoyed dinner tonight here. Noticed it was local to where we were shopping and had cuisine right up our alley so we popped in for the first time. We were seated immediately downstairs and appeared to be the last table. Will provided excellent service throughout the evening and timing of drinks/meals was spot on. New york strip dish was fantastic and the scallop dish with risotto was simply brilliant. The do have a seasonal menu so I'm excited to try again. Cocktails were excellent, too!”

“First visit after reading the reviews. The potato greens with rice wAs good. A hint if spicy but a good flavor spice. The plantains we're moist and good, not greasy. The restaurant was out of cabbage. It appears to be a small family business. 1 cashier, a few chairs and 4 tables. I don't think I would sit there to eat not cozy enough or enough room in my opinion. However, for take out the place is ideal. I plan to return to taste the cabbage along with a few main dishes and will rate again. Don't expect fast because I believe the food is cooked to order and worth the wait. It took about 25 minutes for my order. Prices are reasonable and the service b was with a smile. I'm happy to support a local restaurant with different cuisine which is most welcomed.”

“This is the best high tea in the greater Frederick area. I brought a friend for her birthday and we enjoyed every bite. Blanch, our hostess, was very personable and professional. All of the traditional elements were included but my favorites were the less traditional bites like the crab dip. Another nice touch was that we each were able to pick our own flavor for tea. I loved the strawberry tea so much I bought some to bring home.”

“I tried this place in the summer of 2018 and enjoyed it then. Today, I knew I wanted to eat something delicious so we visited again and I love this place! The Chicago dog is so flavorful (I take off the peppers) and we tried chili cheese fries today which were also great. The vibe is very low key and relaxing. The location next to the creek makes for great people watching. The employees are very friendly as well. I'm a loyalty member after today! Pardon the pictures.
