Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant

Our server was very nice, but the service in general was pretty slow. Dinner for four and one dessert took two hours. We were in a back room that was freezing and asked twice if anything could be done about the air and it took until dessert for it to finally feel slightly less cold. Another large party asked to move due to the temperature. The food is decent. Would probably come back just for a drink at the bar.

I don't usually get excited about restaurants, but this place was exceptional. The staff were all very friendly, professional, and well informed. The food was execellent in all respects. There is a wide selection of their wines to please everyone. If you like to try different wines, I suggest one of their flight options--we did and got a chance to taste 8 different wines between the two of us (plus a couple of other free samples!). We noted which wines we liked, and not, so we can try different ones at our next visit or order our favorites. The food menu is large including salads, sandwiches, and entrees up to the $30 range. They offer a wide variety of proteins including several seafood and vegetarian options. (Their menu is online.) We'll return as we would like to try more wine and food options. At 5:00 on a Friday, the tasting room and bar areas were packed (the have happy hour specials). The dining room wasn't filled until about 7:00 (likely slow as it was a holiday weekend). Suggest reservations for dinner as waits can be long. I think they only allow reservations for a portion of their tables so walk-ins can still get in.

There are some amazing offerings at Cooper's Hawk, and some things that need adjusting. We were greeted immediately upon entering by very friendly staff at the tasting Room. We were offered a free taste of a wine and decided to enjoy a wine tasting.they run $9-$13 . There were 3 choices of wine tastings to choose from. The downside is there are absolutely no chairs at the tasting Room. You are required to stand the entire tasting. not very pleasurable. When we tried to get a table for dinner, we were told there was 90 minute wait. We were smart enough to go on open table and got a reservation for 15 minutes later.we were seated shortly after reservation time. Something is not quite right there when patrons are eschewed from dining...
Menu choices and plated Food were amazing. Again, offered a free tasting of reserve barrel wine. Dessert and cocktails, amazing. Would definitely return to sample other menu items. Hope they work out the rest before returning....

Jazz was our server she was amazing. When you walk in everyone is very professional they give you a wine to try before going to your table. I loved the lettuce wraps. The tuna appetizer I wouldn’t recommend. The pasta was delicious. Portions are big here so definitely share. Salads are too big for one person. Even on the bite menu. Drinks are all very reasonably priced. Parking is easy and they are offering complimentary parking atm too. Check this place out it’s different than what else this town has to offer.
