Vignola used to be a lunch favorite in downtown Rockville. When that whole area was torn down, we lost our beloved Vignola. But they are back tucked in the shopping area off Bolling Brook Parkway. All the old favorites are there for lunch. Carryout or eat in (although the eat in area is limited). Where Vignola excells is in their home cooked entrees, frozen to go. Chicken Caccatore, lasagna in many different combos - meat, sausage, chicken, and veggie - plus other Italian faves are all there. Thinking of a catered party? Think Vignola. Btw, their arrancini are to die for.

This place is a hidden gem (no really, it is hidden....hard to find but worth persevering and finding). Great takeout frozen options. Excellent arincini and pasta bowls. The sandwiches look great too. Service was very good. Not really a lot of seats so better for take out.

I don't think about it that much because it is out of the way. Their food is absolutely delicious!

Delicious!! I ordered the meatball sub for lunch. This place is a carryout, so they are quick. The sub is a decent size with 5 large meatballs. The cheese and bread are good (I got the soft roll). All I need is some more of the delicious marinara sauce to dip. Everything seems freshly made.
