“We went to the melting pot late January to celebrate a belated Christmas dinner with family. For three of us this was the first time we returned in over 10 years. One member of the group never went here but enjoyed the experience. It's very expensive if you do the three course meal for each person. If I go again I would just do the cheese appetizer and dessert. Great place to come with family and friends. They made sure we were seated in a well lit area.”

“This location is okay. I prefer the one in Germantown. The meal was good, but the rice was really plain (not worth the carbs!). We had to ask for hot sauce; it was not offered/suggested. The only reason we even knew about it is because of the previous experience. Definitely recommend it though. It adds flavor and has a kick, which the rice and salad need. The meat was excellent. The Baklava was old (sell by was two days out) and not that good anyway and the Colette tasted as described (sponge cake with whipped cream). I wouldn't normally get dessert, especially at a place like this, but it was my birthday and I wanted a treat. You'd be better off getting that elsewhere.”

“Wow I cannot believe someone previous said " All portions were small" ? They were huge and that was the problem for me. The food was great and well presented, but this place really is only for parties of at least 3 or 4 minimum. They do not serve any portions or have any on the menu for 1 or 2 people. So, what you end up with despite anything the waitress may say, is huge and very expensive. Granted you can take home, what you can't eat, but that would be 80% of it. Atmosphere like most US restaurants located in these shopping precincts, is non existence as are windows. Ambience virtually zero, if it weren't for Ensio the barman I would have left without ordering. Owner needs to re-vamp menu and portions and stop wasting food. Was suppose to receive a discount, as the hotel (comfort inn) recommended I visit this place, which was a 15 minute drive, but never received one.”

Plenty of other open tables, so it was not a turn-over issue. Server asked about more drinks before we were even halfway done with current drink. I am sure she felt she was being attentive but the constant interruptions became very annoying. Staff should receive Coastal Flats training model. They have it down to a science...assessing conversation and when to assist and when to offer service. The food was impressive enough that we will return and give it another chance. But wait staff need better customer service training.”
