“For gas station food, this stuff is pretty deng good. is it Publix chicken good? not even close. does it rival Popeyes and Churches chicken? sure, and it's way cheaper than going to those other chains. this combo of chicken with potato wedges for the kids all for only about $10!! a McDonalds combo costs more than that!”

“Really fantastic shwarma, french fries and vegetable kofta! One of the best I’ve ever had, and this is from someone who doesn’t like them too much. I wish I had taken a photo, but these were so good we finished before realizing we should have taken photos…”

“Cute coffee shop with breakfast options in the AM and pizza/pasta at night with cocktail bar. Update. Have tried the pastas and pizzas now. They recently changed their bread on sandwiches to be made in-house. Much better! Huge upgrade on the sandwiches.”

“I was a little skeptical cause pho is $18 but it’s new add close to home. Glad we gave it a go. Food was fresh, well executed and unique. Enjoyed every dish. Great for a couple but not for larger family style eating as each plate has limited portions. We shared an appetizer, two big plates and a dessert with a glass of wine. Paid about $75, not bad for today’s DC small plate dining. We cleaned our plates and I felt like I could have eaten just a hint more.”

“Service seemed off today. Waiter disappeared for long stretches and it was not super busy. Managers were sitting in a booth in the mostly empty dining room and waitstaff were delivering disinterested service. All the food was great and drinks were excellent. Kudos to the bar & kitchen. I might tend to agree with some of the other reviewers that guaranteeing the staff a 20% tip may cause them to become complacent. That was my experience.”

“I was lucky to try San Pancho for their soft opening and really enjoyed the food and drinks. I ordered the super vegetarian burrito with vegan chorizo and a passion fruit frozen margarita, my partner ordered a regular burrito with carnitas and a side of fries. All the food was high quality and well prepared! I also thought their veggie and vegan options were solid. The menu does lean toward the more expensive end, with the price point ranging from about $14 to $19 for a burrito, which may make it inaccessible for some people. But, the team has done an amazing job refreshing the old Cielo Rojo space and adding something new to the Takoma Park food scene. I have no doubt there will be a long line for this place once it officially opens!”

“My family and I stopped by after church to try out this new restaurant and their food was AMAZING. The pollo en crema, pupusas, carne asada and quesadillas are delicious, made fresh at the moment. The owners are very friendly and ensure we were taken care of Will be returning soon.”

“We got to go there for the first time in December when relatives took us there. We did not have to wait long and got a seat right off although the place was busy. They had a great beer selection and the plates we split were excellent as was our server. They had a great 'take-out' selection of craft beers. I checked many of the expiration dates, and unlike many of these specialty beer stores, their selection was current as well as varied, I want to go back again during our next visit.”

“The only Indonesian sit-down restaurant in the DMV area. All halal, with gluten free & vegetarian menu. I love their Tempe mendoan for appetizer, Nasi uduk platter (the coconut rice is unmatched) and the Pecel lele also comes with the most delish sambal & fried tofu tempe. I also had their soto betawi and tengkleng, no complains! If this place is any closer to me i’d definitely come weekly. p.s everything is made fresh and in-house so be patient”

“Burger Review: The burger at this spot is just mouth watering. The cottage cheese melted on the first bite itself. Being a food blogger, I loved the flavors it had. The Momos were one of the best ones I had in the states.”

“Long-awaited food truck comes to its new brick-and-mortar home in Antique Row. The tacos are just as good as they are at their Georgia Ave food truck and there's so much to enjoy from lengua to fresh al pastor tacos off the trompo. I especially enjoy their carne asada and birria tacos, but why not try them all? So happy this place is in my town and is finally open at last!!”

“So my husband and I eat here quite frequently and I haven’t had the exceptional experience as when we dine at the Tyson’s location. My husband prefers the DC location. This is the second time this exact thing has happened to me which is why I chose to write this review. Carlos was our bartender and he was amazing!! The issue is we ordered two cheese cake slices and two lava cakes when we were about to eat the last chocolate cake the strawberry was covered with green mold🤢”

“This was Our first time came over for happy hour. We really enjoyed the atmosphere. It gives a chill and contemporary vibe. Service was very friendly, from front check in to our waitress was all very attentive , the only advice is for the boy who brought out our food, he might want to pay a little more attention to what’s on the table in the future before put dishes down, so to avoid putting the plate on top of the silverware. We order pretty much everything from the happy hour menu , and truly enjoyed the flavor of all the dishes that. The dishes were very flavorful and not over fried, like the chicken sandwich slider, fried green tomatoes, and bayou rolls. And the beans +rice was so tasty you can tell the beans cooked with good meat. Good price on cocktails during happy hour and you can tell them to put syrup on the side to modify your drink. The one star deduction was due to cleanliness. We changed 2 locations for seating and there are apparent food droppings at both locations on the seats and on the tables, don’t even mention the crumbs dropped on the floor, clearly it was not clean at all. Given the time of the day we went when they were not busy at all during that time, not sure why no one went around to clean up the place bit. Will give it another try and hope to see some improvement. Do recommend by @WineDinenVacay”

“Why a great new casual dining experience. The food is delicious and the service is attentive and friendly. The menu is small but has everything you might want. They also have doggy treats! It’s a comfortable space and we hope this place will be successful.”

“I'm not one for writing reviews but I feel compelled to mention something. Today is my second day of stopping in to 'borrow' the wifi and get a little work done before the local library opens and PJ's is an excellent place for a good cup of coffee from friendly people. I have never been one for Starbucks and my recent visits I've had to come to grips with the cost of a boring brand. PJ's is very affordable and as I noted before the coffee is good. I haven't had any of the food so I'm not able to comment.”

“Metro station and shopping centers are conveniently located near this hotel, and there's even a Whole Foods nearby. While it may not have five-star quality, the price is incredibly reasonable. During the summer heatwave, their AC broke down, but the front desk lady kindly offered a free cancellation due to the AC problems. I chose to stay and was placed in a "less hot" or cooler room, as they had run out of backup fans. By the evening, it seemed like the AC had started working again. I definitely recommend this hotel and plan to return in the future.”

“Silver Springers this is the place to go. Cheap margaritas at 10 bucks, delicious massive burritos and double shell hard tacos. The place is nice and clean, the music is not loud, and the staff is friendly. Ps. I wanted to post a pic of the burrito but I got hungry. They're too good.”

“I had some daring family members in town for a visit who were willing to give it a try. They commented the process of ordering and waiting for the pizza was smooth and easy. They also stated the kiosk was clean. As far as the pizza itself, we all thought it was just okay. It reminded us of frozen pizza, specifically Ellios. That being said, it's a hard pass for us but the concept is cool and being that it operates 24 hours makes it appealing. We are all Jersey folks so our opinion may be biased in that we're used to really good authentic, brick oven pizza. We weren't expecting for a machine to achieve that taste but just gave it a try for the heck of it!”

“Unusual place - really healthy vegetable & fruit based juices, not to mention beets, cucumber, celery with apples, watermelon & pineapple combos. Seating is mostly outside & it's just across the street from Biowall Plaza with fountain, flowers & relaxing music. Pricewise it's like a Starbucks coffee, but much more healthy.”
