I heard Thai Farm changed to Farmsook and checked it out for lunch. It's a short walk from my office, so convenient. Seated quickly, but there were only a couple other tables on a weekday at lunchtime.

We had complimentary spring rolls. They were nice and crispy. Ordered the chicken satay appetizer. Served vertically in a jar and had the sauces in separate jars to dip.

Coworkers had the green curry with shrimp. They enjoyed it and finished theirs. I opted for the duck curry and it was good. Portions were good for lunch. I would expect dinner portions to be a little bit more.

There's so many good Thai options in the MoCo area. This one was okay. I'll probably be back as it's convenient to the office. But it won't be my go-to place for good Thai.

We had a wonderful experience at Farm Sook Thai Kitchen! Appetizers were delicious; curry puff, crispy noodles, steamed dumplings, crispy veggie rolls.....so good ! Entree’s were beyond our expectations. Panang curry, pineapple fried rice, drunken noodles, sesame beef, each dish outstanding. In addition to all the excellent food the restaurant is beautiful and the service is gracious. Can’t wait to go back!””

This place is an improvement from the previous restaurant at the same location. I came here on opening weekend with my yoing daughters to expose them to Thai food. The staff was beyond friendly and even provider an appetizer on the house. They sincerely care about customer satisfaction and asked for frank feedback on the food. All we had to say was thumbs up all around. The food was scrumptious and the presentation a delight. If you like Thai Food, this is the place to come. Plus, my girls absolutely loved it all! Win win all around. Thank you, Farm Sook!

Atmosphere/setting was gorgeous. Lighting set a classy mood. Plenty of natural lighting streaming in from large windows. The giant mural spanning the whole back wall was of high quality.

Pad Kee Mao was delicious, though I am not the most fluent in Thai food. My coworker who is more knowledgeable says it is too sweet.

I ordered "spicy basil fried rice with beef" to-go for my wife. We abstain from pork due to religious reasons, so I specifically asked for beef. I was charged the price for beef, and it shows beef on the receipt, but the item I received did not contain beef, and we could not tell if it was pork or chicken.

I would say that it was a good move to advertise 50% off on the grand opening, except that it seems their staff was not able to handle the amount of clients that came in. The table next to ours waited 30 minutes for their food. Our table finished eating and had to wait an extra 20 minutes before my to-go order showed up. The woman who dropped it off at the table didn't say a single word and looked angry about something. She did manage to wish us "good day" as we left, but she could at least try to smile more. If this is her attitude on the first day then I'd say she'd better buckle down, because it's going to be a long ride.

Overall, this place has some room for improvement, but they also have lots of potential. The flavors of the dishes were great and they definitely have an eye for presentation. From the food, to the drinks, to lighting, and decor. However, their hospitality could be better polished and it would have been nice if we got the beef we ordered for in the to-go item. Looking forward to how Farmsook Happiness continues to grow and develop.

Nice restaurant with authentic Thai food. I love wall pictures of rice field reminding me of my hometown. My favorite dishes do far are crispy noodles, green curry fried rice, and spicy basil duck.
