It's a very cool bar. Had such a good vibe to it. Irish food tasted good too. Great fried pickles. I hope it does well. Was a decent crowd for a Friday night. Could get a seat and enjoy the bar or a table. Will come back for a lunch.
New and exciting eatery and bar located in the former Ralph Lauren store location in Chevy Chase has so much potential but needs to work on better service and improve food offerings. The space is beautifully decorated - lots of wood, hunt country themed - large and very comfortable seating with a nice bar. To be fair, they haven’t been opened for long, so lets hope they can sort out a few things and become the highlight of the area.
Relatively new restaurant in the hood offering novel English/Irish pub fare and environment. However, do not come here expecting to play snooker or darts. Unfortunately, none of these games are offered. One spacious room holds both the restaurant seating and bar seating. The Guinness is good here. So fundamentally, it satisfies the pub concept. The chips are just fries. This place would benefit by adding a ploughman's lunch to its menu, however modified. This restaurant has ample competition nearby. Both Clyde's and Lia's are within easy walking distance. Certainly recommend a look-see once. This may be your cup-of-tea or beer or gin.
This new restaurant is the best in Chevy Chase. After being 30 years in the food service industry I have been to many Irish Pubs and this is the finest. Not only the pleasant surroundings, all the staff are knowledgeable very pleasant and willing to take care of any of your needs. I support this new restaurant 100% and I’ve told many people about it and will continue to talk about what a great spot it is.
Many Thanks,
Chuck La Duca
Great new place in Friendship Heights. We hit for brunch and were extremely pleased by the quality of the food and drinks. Eggs Benedict were amazing and my Irish Breakfast was tasty as heck. Coffee Martini was amazing. Can't wait to get back for dinner and drinks. Beautiful restaurant. Service was good and I think will get better as they settle out of new place opening challenges.
