La Malinche Spanish and Mexican Tapas

How has this hidden gem been here for years and I've never stopped by!now Iwanted to give this place a higher score but service here is horrid. We waited forever for food. Our waiter kept giving us the give me a sec finger. Food overall is really good. Order the French toast, dates and steak with eggs. Price is very reasonable for bottomless brunch. $35 for unlimited food and drinks is great value. I would recommend this place for large parties as well. Food quality is fresh and the kitchen is great with constantly refilling your table.

The food, ambiance and staff allow space for your dinner party to feel intimate. We shared a paella and several tapas and it all tasted fresh, each taste distinctly flavored. I will definitely return with friends/family.

Very good service. The bottom less brunch includes strong drinks. We felt the food was a bit flat.

The food was good but the service was slow and we frequently had to ask for items multiple times. We finally gave up on our last order/refill land asked for the check. Very disappointed as I've enjoyed eating here before.

I eat at La Malinche often. There's a variety of tasty meals, both for meat eaters and vegetarians, at a reasonable price. The margaritas are just right. Not too weak or too strong. Try the jalapeno flavor! Tapas means small plates so be prepared to order a few dishes. It's delicious and well worth the visit if you're in the Silver Spring area.
