Thai At Silver Spring

I can’t say enough positive things about Thai at Silver Spring! From day one, they knocked our socks off! My wife and I frequent this place at least 1-2 times per month, even having moved a bit farther away. From the friendly smiles and greetings to the have your food in 10 minutes - this place deserves some recognition! The staff knows our order whether we are dining in or taking out. Never. Ever. Ever. Disappointed. 10/10

They easily accommodated our larger group. The food and service was fantastic. And very modestly priced. I was surprised and we will be back.

Visited while away on business in 2013. This place was busy. There’s quite a bit of foot traffic so tables don’t stay empty long, but the wait wasn’t long either. This restaurant staffs appropriately with tables being cleared and cleaned as soon as a part leaves, but they also don’t hover over you wishing you would leave, which is a hard balance to find it seems.

Word of advice for those that haven’t tried real Thai food: it’s amazing but it can also be amazingly spicy so check out the little pepper indicators but also know that three peppers in Kansas might be one pepper here.

The food was well-seasoned and well-prepared and served hot. The prices were just a bit more expensive than other sit down restaurants but it wasn’t overly expensive. The location was convenient and easily located.

Review for delivery - Panang Curry tofu was great. I added mixed veggies and it was an excellent addition. I ordered medium spicy and it didn’t have much kick, so order hot if you want any significant heat. The fresh rolls with ground chicken are good with a satisfying amount of meat.

Very good food, nice and attentive wait staff, and lots of vegetarian/vegan options. It's up on the second floor right next to the fountain. It can be a little tough to notice from the ground floor, even though there's a big sign.
