Eggspectation

Our server was excellent. Our meal well paced. Everything was well made and satisfying. The food wasn't pretentious. The waffles are the consistencey that I'm looking for. I only gave it four stars for two reasons: because I had a little seating problem because of my leg. One hostess was a little dismissive, but the second hostess quickly heard what was up and solved it in less than forty seconds. The second reason is because if you're going to be an all day brunch place then you should have mimosa specials. No one drinks one mimosa at brunch.

I took one of friends for their birthday. The food was amazing and the ambience was excellent. We had a great time and experience.

Eggspectation is a really cozy, family-friendly restaurant - great for brunch. It gets really crowded on the weekends, so expect at least a 20 minute wait or more. All food has been very tasty and service has been fairly prompt. The French toast is indulgent. Bloody Mary's are complex and good. Eggs are done just right and seasoning is good on omelets (hate those omelets you get at other places with no flavor!)

A pretty good breakfast place in silver spring. The food is good, but they almost have too many options. Price range of a dish can be around 10-15$.

My friend and I enjoyed dinner before a movie here. The ham. mushroom and asparagus crepe came with a savory roasted red pepper sauce. The chicken mushroom and spinach crepe melded with the delightful melted cheese inside. I enjoyed the draft craft beer from their selections. They even had a variety of herbal teas.
