“Went for a metal show, nice setup for live metal shows with a couple of pool tables in the back. Basic bar menu and limited beer selection, but very food liquor selection with a lot of top shelf tequila. The ladies can make a mean margarita too!!! Bands perform with a view of the town and Georgia Avenue below, reminds me of the dives in Queens I frequent regularly for black metal shows. Keep booking metal!”

“Prices are reasonable for being a hotel bar in Maryland. They are about standard NY or DC bar prices. My only pet peeve is that the bar closes at 12pm and once it is close you are not allowed to consume your own drinks in the lobby seating/restaurant area, even if you are staying at the hotel. This is what I find mind blowing, because I would hope they should not mind people being loud in a closed bar where there are no rooms near by vs at their room where they disturb the neighbors.”

“They have a great happy hour special: $3.50 for draft beers, $4.50 for wine, and $5.50 for martinis. Their selection of martinis is bar none. And on Tuesdays their specialty burgers go for between $3.50 and $5.50, or you can make your own burger for $1 plus about 75 cents per additional topping. The bar is very spacious with plenty of places to sit. Overall, this is a great place to visit and unwind after work. Some people even come here to get their work done.”

“Drove out from herndon Va to meet up with an old friend and met up at this bar. Had an amazing experience with great music that was playing, had the NBA game on one of the screens, excellent food/drinks and to top it off great company of regulars who make it feel like home...definitely a spot that I would make my go to spot to relax. “Five stars because the food, drink and service was WOW!!! We came visited today (12/20) during happy our. It was my first ever visit and we got a server (Taylor) on first table on her fist day. She was the bomb, utterly fantastic. The entire experience was even though the manager almost messed it up.... i won't discuss it. Make sure you ask for Taylor. I had the Drunken Fish sandwich with fries. The fish was so succulent and the bread was soft and fresh. Even the fries were the best. I am not sure if the food was so good because of the two delicious martinis or it was just really that good but either way we left Bar Louie extremely happy and full. I cannot wait to go back!”

“This place is very nice on the inside for a small party. They have restrooms on the lower level as well as upstairs. Women really appreciate this because there's always a line to use the restroom. We didn't have to walk far or circle the block for parking because this location is located directly across from a parking garage. I would return for another event.”

“The venue is ok. The sound is fine. The music started on time and we waited long to order food. They had a minimum $20 order. After waving to a few folks asking to take our orders we gave up. After and hour someone asked if we wanted to order we did. We got the food but didn't get our drinks until after we finished our food. We had to change one of the drinks and we got a bottle beer than the draft version which is completely different for Guinness. Anyway we went to see the band but when you have a minimum order with a minimum service charge of 18% it is not fair. I gave my feedback to the wait staff.”

I think it's a good place if you can't find any other spot for Easter (which was my case) but not one to come back to”

“Went on a Thursday evening, very low key and quiet. Very affordable hookah deal, $15+ tax. Didn't eat although they offered a late night menu. Parking was ample and the venue was clean. Traditional music playing in the background while late night cable TV played in the foreground. Pretty chill spot, would love to see what it's like on a Saturday night.”
