(August 9, 2018, 9:40 pm)Amazing West African food! Just like my host mother used to make when I lived in Senegal. I got the rice and fish and my friend got the peanut stew. They were both equally as good and equally as authentic. Definitely get the fataaya for appetizers, small meat pies with either spiced tuna or beef... my favorite street food of Senegal. Ask for the baobab juice! That’s something you can rarely find, and there’s is thick and delicious without being too sweet.
About the service: don’t go to an African restaurant expecting American-style service. Just don’t. Just because it’s different doesn’t mean it’s wrong (this is in response to anyone who complains about service being slow at ANY African restaurant).
Overall, I’m so excited about this place! Can’t wait to go back.
