It's good to sign up online for their coupons and they are sending them out more frequently than they used to and I like getting good food at a good price. “This brand is my favorite. Tonight was the first trip for me to this location. This restaurant was very chaotic. There were a number of sides that were “out.” Also, there was quite a waiting time as there were groups of people sitting around for their orders. There was a woman who had her order messed up and was waiting for it to be corrected. A couple of people walked out before ordering, because of the wait time. When I placed my order, I had to wait over 30 minutes until I could get my food. Even then, I was told that I would have to substitute sides at the last moment. The national brand, Krispy Krunchy Chicken, is awesome. I love this chicken, so I will be patient, since this location just opened.”

“I went to this subway yesterday and usually i have decent service but yesterday a young lady by the name Aaliyah (I’m sorry if i spelt your name wrong) was helping me and she gave me GREAT and FAST customer service. I was also in a rush (which she didn’t know) but i had to take the time to tell she she was amazing she would be the reason why i would go back to the subway and eat !! There were 2 other ladies working with her who were nice as well but unfortunately i didn’t get their names. Thank you ladies for your great service.”

“The food itself is a "5". Rating dropped to a 3 star mainly because I am concerned about some of the health issues. Employees SHOULD wear gloves. They go from cash register, telephones, personal phones to grabbing food ...opening containers for customers to check AND never touched water (washed their hands). I've observed this action on numerous occasions...and everyone has long nails. I wish employees will wear gloves at least when touching people's food. I have no compliants about their food and timeliness.”

“Killer Mike is calling for Black Friday’s. So I’m trying to find a black business to spend my money at on Fridays. I’m in Maryland this weekend for a cheerleading competition and I told myself this I have to find me a spot with crab cakes! This spot was on point! They a crab cake with shrimp sandwich and it’s amazing! My had chicken wings and Mac and cheese that also had the crab and shrimp as well. The staff was really nice as well.”

“Found this place after work and reading the reviews I decided to try them out. I got there a little after 5 pm on a Friday and they were out of croaker already. I ordered the whiting Mac & Cheese and cabbage. The lady was cool behind the counter and my food was ready in about 10 minutes. I got home to Alexandria Virginia and the food was excellent! I will be back. Fish was fried just right the side portions was a little on the light side but I'm satisfied with my order.”

“Asked for the pulled beef brisket today (which I have had here several times since the new ownership took over in July, and which is my favourite thing on the menu), but was served sliced brisket instead. When I asked about it I was told they were not going to serve the pulled beef any more. The brisket that I got was tasty enough, but was the chewiest brisket I have ever had. The cabbage and black beans were both pretty good. I'm much less likely to go back if the pulled beef is really gone...”

“My husband and I ate here today and were so happy we decided to come here! From the minute we walked in the owners were so friendly. First the wife was helping us decide on what to order. We know nothing about Nigerian food, so we had so many questions. Her husband came out to help us as well. They were so patient. We asked him to put on some of his native music and we played pool while waiting for our food. I felt so at home. When the food came we were blown away by the flavor. EVERYTHING was amazing! I couldn't wait to get home to eat the leftovers. We had plenty because the portions were huge! No exaggeration. It was so good I have looked up a few recipes on my own. I will be back everytime I come to the state. I wish them all the success in the world. Great food, great people!”

Most importantly, the cheese steak sub had no gristle, wasn't chewy. The bread was tasty & the flavor of the meat was so awesome. (I had sub w/mushroom, grilled onions, bell peppers and provolone).
