NuVegan Cafe - College Park

Ratings:Cleanliness 3. Customer Service 4. Availability of food 3, wanted curry or jerk chicken. None on weekends but it's on menu. Kitchen and serving area cleanliness 3. There seem to be some distinction. My crab cake was cold on the inside. Collard greens dry good, but gave me headache. Mac&cheese was off the chain!

Well I got introduced to NuVegan on my birthday June 2018. I became an instant
fan & drive frequently from Bowie to buy 3-4 dishes for carry out. The food has always been great, but food gotten Friday Feb 8 around 4:00pm was not as good as in the past. The black bean burger tasted very different and not as good. Was the recipe changed?

This spot has a good vibe to it, from the friendly staff to the nice music. This was my first time here so I ordered the Vegan Steak & Cheese with Fries which was very very good. I also wanted the Citrus Surprise Smoothie but the staff there informed me they have no problem making it for me but that was a detox smoothie, thanks for looking out because I had a lot of things to do that day and detoxing wasn't one of them lol so I ended up with a Strawberry Cream. They are really redefining the perception of vegan cuisine. I highly recommend this spot!!!!!

Upon entering the restaurant, I was greeted by a very friendly staff. The two attendants were pleasant and helpful. I ordered the Vegan Chicken Tenders, Macaroni and Cheese, and Collard Greens. The Chicken Tenders were crispy, golden, seasoned and prepared to order. The Macaroni and Cheese was season and did not leave a vegan cheese after taste. The Collards were a little salty but seasoned very well. I will definitely return for the great tasting food and wonderful customer service.
