Down to earth owner. Great bowls! Introduced me to the concept of Acai bowls and they're amazing

Beautiful environment and lovely atmosphere set the right tone. The açaí bowl itself wasn’t the best, the base was too frozen and took away from the taste of the entire bowl.

I went here yesterday and was not disappointed. Food was great! I wish the avocado had the option to get a friend egg (I didn't ask but I don't think you can). I love acai bowls so this place is heaven for having those. There's a great extensive healthy menu to choose from, perfect for a vegetarian like me. The place is also really cute inside so definitely comfortable for one to sit down in. The people working there were nice and charming.

This is a good place to go if it’s early in the morning and you’re looking for a smoothie. NuVegan next door has smoothies but they don’t open until 11am on weekdays – boo!

So, right next door is Frutta Bowls who opens at 8am M-F and 9am on Sat and Sund. Woot, woot!

They carry pitaya bowls, acai bowls, kale bowls, and oatmeal bowls, but all I was after was a natural smoothie without artificial syrups and added sugar. They did not disappoint me.

I got in and out of this place in no time with the Pink Flamingo for about $7.50 plus tax. It had an almond milk base, mango, banana, pitaya, pineapple, and just a touch of honey. It was all natural – no HFC syrups or other artificial ingredients or refined sugar. Loved, loved it! Wish I could go back and try one of their bowls now.

And thanks again for being open early on the weekdays – you were a lifesaver!
