It is a newly opened restaurant.
👍The decor is modern, clean, and comfortable, making it great for gatherings with colleagues or friends, for business meetings, or simply for catching up.
👍One of the signature dishes is the spicy fried pig's trotters, which are perfectly seasoned, with tender and not greasy skin and tendons, highly recommended.
👍The cumin lamb stir-fry features tender lamb without any gaminess, also highly recommended.
👌The shredded pork with garlic sauce is authentically Sichuan-style, though a bit sweet for my taste. Those who enjoy sweeter flavors should love it.
👍The stir-fried shredded potatoes are crispy and flavorful.
👍The crispy chicken has a crunchy exterior and tender meat, definitely recommended.
Overall, I haven't encountered any disappointments yet.
👍The service is excellent, with friendly and natural waitstaff making guests feel very comfortable.
Food was good but service could be better. We had sour cabbage fish and fish fillet. Fish fillet turned out to be deep fried, sort of like Kentucky chicken, not steamed as we expected. Asked for hot water and more napkins but our waiter didn’t bring any.
Great Chinese food in College Park! The atmosphere was clean and showed high quality. The service was good and all the food came out around the same time. The food was all tender; nothing felt squishy. My favorite dish was the Boiled Fish Fillet in Chili Sauce. The fish was so tender and the chili sauce added amazing flavor. I also had the Fried Eggplant with Garlic Sauce. It was good and a nice appetizer or side to share. Another dish I recommend is the Vegetables Hot Spicy Pot. It had a great variety of vegetables and a subtle kick. The fourth dish I tried was the Fried Rice with Chicken. You can’t go wrong with fried rice, so it was obviously good. All the food is great for sharing and reasonably priced. Overall, I was very impressed by Eastern Gourmet. If you know the right things to order, you’ll definitely enjoy your meal. 5 Stars!
The overall experience was decent. The interior, lighting, was impressive. The price was reasonable. For foods, the chicken sauce was mislabeled as teriyaki instead of Sichuan-style oil sauce. The rice noodles lacked flavor, but the five-spice shredded pork was good.
had a very nice time. unsure what people were talking about regarding slow service. at one point we had 3 people waiting on us and all food was ready within 10 mins. it was very yummy and i’m thinking that the bad reviews in the beginning were because they had just opened and working out the kinks. dim sum and dumplings were delish and i highly recommend the chili oil wontons!
