The food was awesome, similar to the one I tried at NYC.
Edgar, Noella, Toya, Stan - everyone was soo good and nice! RESPECT to them
The food was excellent and the service was amazing! The people were so nice and checked in to make sure we were enjoying our meal. The food was so so so good. Will definitely be back soon!
Food was amazing! Service was awesome. The employees here are so kind and friendly. 10/10 recommend!
Fast mediterranean concept - a new competitor to Cava in College Park. Portion size is excellent. Great amount of chicken which was delicious and well seasoned. Veggies were super fresh. Couscous base was a disappointment, as it wasn’t fully cooked and instead had a weird clumpy crunch. Go with the rice base. As for the restaurant itself, very basic layout with some seating. Employees could be more welcoming and enthusiastic especially in the first week of opening. Most were on their phones. With Taim being pricier than Cava, it’s all a matter of preference. Worth checking this place out to decide for yourself.
If I’m rating the quality and taste of the food, it’s an easy 5/5. I’m loyal to Cava, but the College Park location never fails to disappoint me so I satisfied my Mediterranean needs elsewhere. The leafy greens and couscous were excellent. Taste, texture, and everything else was perfect. The shawarma cauliflower was something I’ve never had before yet enjoyed a lot. Plenty of vegan/vegetarian options available, including the diverse array of sauces. I liked the tangy mango.
However, I didn’t like the restaurant format. It’s not like Cava or Chipotle where you order as you go and the employee adds food for you and you see the options. It’s all on a machine so you can’t actually see the food until they make it and give to you— a drawback in my opinion. Also, portions seemed smaller than Cava for a higher price. I might come back, or not. I could’ve eaten two of these bowls I got because they were so tasty. Yet, it wasn’t enough food for the price and the ordering process was not ideal.
