“I was so excited to finally get to try this new Wawa as it’s close to my job. It’s very clean, has plenty of pumps and parking spots, and a good selection of food, drinks, etc to purchase. The touch screen food offered to be ordered didn’t have the panini option which kind of made me feel let down. Instead I ordered a toasted ham and cheese 6” sandwich on wheat. It’s pretty good with plenty of meat. I’ve included pictures below for reference. Overall, I liked it and I’m still thrilled it’s finally open.”

Everything at Amigos is freshly made in-house. The salsa served alongside the nachos is particularly delightful. Amigos’ salsa marries a pleasing complexity of color with a smoky, spicy flavor. Only two minor qualms with this astoundingly wonderful place: *Prepare yourself for a loud “Happy Birthday” band to march around the restaurant every half hour. *The flan absurdly comes with chocolate sauce. Despite the mariachi bands, do yourself a favor and check out this most reasonably priced Mexican haven!”

“I was very excited to try this place out as I love this style of food. I ordered the Chicken Shwarma bowl with kale and white basmati rice. For the toppings in chose the baba ganoush, crazy feta, cabbage, roasted eggplant, olives and the yogurt dip. For the sauce I went with the recommended Harissa sauce which is not too spicy but does have a kick. The serving size is pretty large which is great for the price of a bowl. You can upgrade to steak or lamb for extra money as well but I chose to stick with chicken. Everything was fresh and delicious. I highly recommend the roasted eggplant, pure goodness! It may seem small but I love the fact that if you are eating there they give you a real bowl and silverware as well a huge glass for water, which was awesome! Everyone there was super nice and friendly and the interior was super clean and well designed. Highly recommend this place and I will be back to enjoy other options. My friend chose a falafel wrap which she absolutely loved as well!”

There is a little stand where you can get gas but that’s about it. The car wash is closed as well They have a long fence on the front of the Dash In store. “Its Just A Taste came through for us last night when we found ourselves a serious bind. The venue I had secured as a party of 32 for my husband’s birthday party fell through 2 hours before it was to begin. I was aware It’s Just A Taste planned intimate dining events here in Laurel and took a chance by reaching out to them with my fingers crossed. They immediately went to work… helping us secure the location and food in our hustle to salvage the evening! They even shut down there Door Dash service for the reminder of the evening to accommodate us. Now where on God’s green earth will you find a business that would be willing to provide that kind of bar none customer service with only 3 hours notice!?!? The venue was upscale and top notch, full of: • ample parking • ample seating • a Pool Table • Foosball Table • a Poker Card tables (where played spades, bid whist, pokeno, phase 10) • video games • a arcade games machine with all the old school game (on free-play game mode) • good music • good vibes And the food was fresh, hot, flavorful and plentiful!!! They keep going through it so fast we were never able to get a good picture of any of it. The picture I have included were of the very beginning as people began trickling in. The video has the 20 of the 32 initial guest that actually made it to the alternative event all gathered on one side of the venue playing spades, Pokeno and pool. It’s Just A Taste ABSOLUTELY came through for us last night. This family_owned, black-owned l small business we’re absolutely amazing and were true lifesavers in a time of unexpected stress and frustration!!! Thank you again, It’s Just A Taste 🤩”

“I love Java cafe! I started coming for the smoothies, but I love the breakfast and freshly made cold pressed juices and lemonades, and most importantly the wellness products. I buy the seamoss gel that the owner makes, along with other products like black seed oil, elderberry, ginger shots, loose teas, and turmeric. If you catch them when they’re fully stocked, there are even more products. It’s so great being able to go to local black owned spot that values wellness and makes the products easily accessible to the community! If that’s not enough, the couple that owns the shop are genuinely friendly and kind. Great customer service. I love stopping in weekly!”
