“One of my favorite places. It is family owned and run. They are great people. The menu is Eastern shore home style. Bruce's meatloaf is my absolute favorite and Bruce could be your server. Cream of crab soup is wonderful. It is the standard I compare all others to. If you like local out of the way places that feels like you are having dinner with friends this is the place. Oh, the deserts are too die for. I always get a slice with dinner and a slice to go home. The chocolate pie, coconut cream, and strawberry are the best ever.”

“This is a hard one for me, first of it's the start of the season so. I expected a rocky start, we sat down to eat at 6:30 and they opened at 4:30. The food tasted as if it had been there since open and was dry. The place was musty probably from being closed all winter and it was dead I imagine that's the reason for the lack of fresh food. Now on a better note the dessert was amazing and the waitress and manager were amazing and made the rest of our evening worth while. So if you have a problem with the food you need to speak up and they will fix it for you at all costs but if you don't say anything it's on you. And just talk to them no need to be rude.”

“My husband and I ate at the Dough Roller on the boardwalk and the food and service was excellent. The next day we ate at the one next to the Convention Center, food was good but our server needs a class on etiquette. While chomping on her gum and not introducing herself, we ordered. Her attitude thru our time there was just cocky. Our bill was wrong and it seemed to irate her. I don't think we will eat at that one again.”

“Coming into this restaurant was delightful. The waitress who waited on us was polite efficient and went out of her way to make sure that we enjoyed our meal and that everything was just perfect for us. Her service for us began even before we went into the restaurant because she pointed out to us where we could park for free even before knowing we were planning on going in there. Her name was Marie I believe and she was absolutely fantastic, the food was good but that waitress alone would be enough reson to continue coming into this restaurant”

The onion rings are a must have and if you liked steamed clams with a side of clarified butter then take them, they're great. “If you go, you have to order the crab dip. It’s a must! The best crab dip I’ve ever had, hands down! We ordered the captain’s platter and it was enough seafood to feed an army! Very neat, and clean atmosphere, and I know this is random but, the bathrooms were so clean. They have lots of neat toiletries for you to use to freshen up.”
