What a great Irish Pub I discovered in Jake Rooney's I go up to Cape Cod to fish for 5 days and this is a great place for lunch good food great drinks and you might talk to someone interesting

We ordered Cabernet beef. It was delicious and for desert we had New York cheesecake which was delicious as well. The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly.

The ONLY place I’ve found on cape cod that makes twice baked potatoes they’re so perfectly good!!! And the staff is great!! I love Rooney’s!!! Highly recommend Jake Rooney’s!!!

We enjoyed our meal so much our first night, we went back for a do-it-again the next night! Of particular note is their absolutely delicious French onion soup. I would say it's the best I have ever had. The service by Jackie was wonderfully friendly and happy. We so enjoyed her attitude and professionalism. We will definitely return!

Great steak on a stone! Friendly service! — this review was 2 weeks ago and I gave it 5 stars.
Went back last night and the food and service were as wonderful as the last time. However, the Saturday night “entertainer” was so loud it made it impossible to talk at our table and to ignore his sometimes crude and inappropriate songs. We asked if it could be turned down so we and the other families in the dining room could have an enjoyable evening, but we were told the singer wouldn’t. Apparently, there were type of shutters that could have closed the dining room off at least a bit, but they weren’t closed. Very disappointing.
