Mooncussers Tavern

This was our fourth visit to Mooncussers in the past 3 years. Usually, by the second or third visit, restaurants fail to fulfill our heightened expectations set by a great first visit. Not so with Mooncussers. This time, we had 3 seafood tapas along with Wagyu beef carpaccio. Outstanding. The flavors combinations were exciting, the quality of the food was perfect and the service was attentive, without being overbearing. We noticed all the servers and the bartender were all adults, in their 40s or 50s. Professionals. No one called us "guys". Still recommending to friends and we'll be back on our next trip to the Cape.

So Mooncusser's is one of our favorite spots.....we normally begin our season and end our summer with a visit ...perhaps a few in between....the menu never fails and our hosts never do either....this is our eighth season or so and have grown quite fond of Patrick, Annie and Dameon....great spot and might we suggest the bison a d salmon as an entree....bon appetite!

I recently went here with my family for a nice dinner out. We had requested a table that wasn’t too on top of anyone else and the owner more than accommodated us by seating us in our own little room! The appetizers and entrees were all delicious and their cocktails were very good as well. Service was very friendly and attentive. We will definitely make this one of our traditions from now on while on the Cape. Try it out- You won’t be disappointed!

This is a quaint Cape Cod family owned and run inn and tavern serving excellent quality food creatively prepared. So many good choices but the vegetable risotto topped with grilled salmon is a favorite !

Ambiance was good, drinks were excellent, and food was ok. We ordered buffalo steak and it arrived very salty, I mean way too much, they took it back and the second try was raw meat. Clearly the chef got lost. However, the beat salad was very good.
