“Very pleasantly surprised! When I read that the restaurant held 300 people I expected bus loads and that doesn't usually bode well. In fact, Larissa was very helpful and attentive. The fish tacos were delicious and my husband very much enjoyed his chowder and fried shrimp. Others had the mussels with linguine and the Seafood Salad with shrimp, lobster, etc and were very pleased. It is a bit pricey but great food and wait staff!”

“Was our 1st visit, but definitely not our last! A new favorite when we are in town! Whitney, our server, was amazing. She made sure our meal was served at exactly the right time & according to our specifications. She checked on us to make sure everything was okay during the meal & kept our table clean throughout. Since it was such a nice night, we ate outside on the patio & that made the meal even more enjoyable. The atmosphere was peaceful, the music was not too loud, the outside grills were lit at dusk (which was really nice) & it just made everything about this trip better. I highly recommend trying Captain Parker's Pub & especially tasting a bowl of the delicious clam chowder! It is fantastic & full of clams!! Eat it 1st...for it's very filling! The fried calamari & the potato skins were delicious as well. We really enjoyed everything. ????❤”

“I was pleased to be seated right away but I was disappointed to get my breakfast nachos that didn't match the description on the menu. Don't get me wrong, they were still tasty, but the menu said black beans and corn. They had neither but had bell peppers and onions (which weren't listed as ingredients). Kids' portions were perfectly sized for them. Had to ask for coffee refills which at a breakfast joint I was surprised by. All tasty, just not a 5 star experience.”

“Quite amazing! Our server, Lindsey, was great, too- even though it was very busy, she didn't miss a beat My Italian mother enjoyed the food very much. The fried artichoke appetizer was to die for. The meatballs and marinara were spectacular. Definitely go for the homemade pasta- only three are made in-house and we had the fettuccine which was delicious. They will substitute/switch out pastas and sauces no problem. They had fried squash flowers as an appetizer special. My grandmother used to make them for my mom growing up. Unfortunately, the ricotta with them flower overwhelmed it. But it was still neat that they had squash flower (never seen it on a menu ever and I even lived in New Orleans for 15 yrs). If you get the grilled romaine salad, I recommend asking for the dressing on the side so that it doesn't cool down the lettuce. We substituted the Caesar dressing (for blue cheese), which was one of the best Caesar dressings I have ever had.”

“Friendly smiles, clean dine-in area, but air conditioner temp set to the point where it's so cold that it's unbearable to sit for more than 5 minutes. Not to mention that your food is cold in no time. When I told a staff member that it was unbearably cold in the dining room, I was told that they had to put it up high, so that they can cool down the kitchen area behind the counter. Bathrooms clean most of the time. Decent food and prices. I highlyrecommend take out or delivery.”

“One of the best dining experiences that we have had on Cape Cod. Well worth the stop and the service was excellent. The food is delicious and all homemade, nothing processed or canned here. The orange juice was freshly squeezed and they even have a homemade jam. The real winner here is the corned beef hash. It is slow roasted and probably the best hash I have ever had. This is highly recommended and if I could give them more than 5 stars I would!”

Huge portions good quality and decent fair prices. If you’re not looking for a lobster roll but are looking for real great protein Or real food choices this is it. I had a hot marinated steak tip sandwich in Greek dressing on a sub and I took 1/2 home. Amazing homemade chicken noodle soup. Huge taco salads great roast beef sandwiches. Something for everybody we will be back often. I’d recommend calling in your order ahead. Food is prepared to order and worth it. Very friendly staff.”

“Great bar staff. We do take out everytime we go to stay at the Cove. I have a medical. They do have specific days of operation and specific hours. They have specials which brings in heavy crowds on certain days. Once your familiar with the operation you should find it's a place for a nice meal or snack. Yes they are in the business to serve the customers. Remember trying to figure out how many travelers are visiting isn't an easy task. Sometimes there can be a burst of customers. Meeting the owners was very pleasant. They seem to remember you. They remember certain things about you. That to me means the world. Treat the staff with respect, remember to tip your waitperson, it's not an easy job.”
