Door Prize

This food is GOOD, I mean, the owners really care about cooking (him) and hosting (her) and go WAY out to make it a very special experience for their guests. The ELT (eggplant lettuce & tomato) and mushroom French dip sandwiches were artisanally exquisite. MASS MoCA, *please* give Door Prize ANYTHING they need to continue doing what they do and make sure everyone finds out they should come especially to eat there, with a glass or two of carefully selected wines!!!

The fact that everything is fresh made is a big hit for me, because face it who doesn’t love fresh made bread?! And those yummy handcut fries! Perfectly made sandwiches and a delightful staff always willing and ready to help.! Highly recommend giving them a try! ( there’s vegan and gluten free options!)

Yum! So happy to have Door Prize in the neighborhood. Extra happy that they make ordering gluten-free so easy! My nephew said the bacon on the BLT is the best he’s ever had - and I agree! Pair your lunch or dinner with a nice locally made cider, craft beer or delicious wine.

Doorprize is a must visit food spot whether you’re visiting MASS MoCA or whether you live in the area. The atmosphere is super casual and neat, with a great little outdoor seating area in a courtyard just outside of MASS MoCA. The meatball sub is delicious and I always get a side of their super thin fries that have just a touch of vinegar. Next time I’m going to order extra pickles because their in house pickles alone are worth the visit.
In a town with limited options I’m so grateful to have Doorprize to know I’m getting delicious food with locally sourced ingredients and that I’m going to be seeing super friendly staff that treat you like family. So ditch the inside offerings at MoCA and take 5 steps out the door for one of the best dining experiences in North Adams.

Went here during Solid Sound in May. It was BY FAR the best food I had at the festival. The lentil meatball hoagie was delicious--hearty and the sauce was tangy. The bread airy with just the right amount of chew. And the pickled vegetables were outstanding. It was so good I went back the next day. Will definitely go again next time I'm in the area.
